I am surprised the networks have not gotten the 2 sides together and worked something out. Just imagine the matchups.

Alabama vs Michihan
LSU vs Ohio State
Georgia vs Penn State
A&M vs Northwestern
Missouri vs Illinois

Who would you want to play?

Because the Big 10 is butt hurt about the SEC expanding to 16 teams so they created an “alliance” with the PAC-12 and Big 12. They also hate how they tried to be “leaders” by canceling their football season in 2020 only to have the SEC drag their nuts across their face and forced them to backtrack and play their season.

frick them and frick any challenge with that weak, slow arse conference

I thought the SEC had chosen the Big 12 for some odd reason years ago, it feels like we play the Big 12 a lot for football bowl games too for some reason, maybe it felt that way bc our Kellen Mond teams had to play Okie Lite twice? But basketball terms, I rank the ACC first, Big 10 second, then SEC/Big 12, so I know what you mean

I like how you cherry picked Northwestern for aTm while tossing LSU to Ohio State, Georgia to Penn State, Alabama to Michigan.

You don't even have the guts to take on Wisconsin instead of Northwestern?

I always thought it would be cool for something like this and for the home team to own the date. Watching Florida or Bama go play in Michigan or Wisconsin in late November would be interesting. Not sure how it would ever work though with scheduling.

I don't think they want to cannibalize each other.

Surprised that Alabama & Ohio State agreed to a home and home in a few years.

Why would the two biggest blue bloods agree to knock each other off in the regular season?

Will make great tv for the rest of us, but surprised they are doing it

Schools are scared to lose with a four team playoff. An SEC/Big Ten challenge, if done like basketball, would take scheduling out of the hands of the schools and no contender wants that. Expand the playoff and teams might be more willing to schedule higher profile games, probably not, but a better chance at least

Arky is 1-0 vs the B1G this year.

Not a big deal.

Sorta did that.
Alabama played both Michigan and Wisconsin
LSU played Wisconsin.

So there have been moments to neutral site games

We have that in bowl season. SEC plays Big 10 in the Outback, Citrus, and Music City Bowl.

Aggys would probably forfeit at the last minute and cost the conference money

Missouri/Illinois is an actual rivalry

Congratulations on completely missing the only other actual SEC/B1G rivalry....Kentucky/Indiana.
