If Jim Lindsey is involved, as I have been told.. It will be pretty good. I am not sure if this is the one however, but he and his group have been working on one...

Josh is right. We got word this announcement was coming tomorrow last week. I don’t know many details, but I’m thinking NIL+giving back to the community.

new pot farms and distributors in state.

What’s the real deal with all that? Last I heard there was only like 6 grow licenses for the state. And that Walton grandkids and other rich families snatched them all up. Many people said just pass the law and we can open up the licenses later, even though if you ever dealt with small town liquor licenses you know that was never going to happen.

Also as part of the NIL I had heard you can’t touch booze, guns, cigarettes or drugs of any sort (CBD, Delta 8, or THC).

The entire process of gaining a medical Marijuana distributor license was totally fricked from the get-go. You had to have like $1M in assets, plus hundreds of acres of land just to apply. And then, only a handful of licenses were even issued, and nobody really knew how they were to be awarded. I would not be surprised if the Walton kids and Asa's relatives got half the licenses. Those things are like gold. I do know ghat Jefferson County got more than one license. They also got one of only 4 casino licenses in the state, but I digress.

Hell, even the regular, non-THC hemp farmers in Arkansas, which the common man can grow, are totally designed to screw you.

The Arkansas hemp farm laws make it almost impossible for anyone to make any money because the statutes will not allow the farm-grown hemp to be sold directly to CBD/hemp consumers and must, in turn, be sold to a middle man company which drastically kills your bottom line.

On the open market, cbd quality hemp can get $2000-4000 per acre, but through a middle man company, it's far, far lower.

I think there were about 100 or more industrial hemp farms (not the medical Marijuana farms) in Arkansas a couple of years ago and basically none of them made any money.

Hemp farming for commercial use is 100% legal and granted in the 2018 US Farm Bill, but Arkansas is the only state in America that puts limits on how the product that is grown in the state can be sold. It's total bullshite.

There are lots of small family farmers and farms that could be making a living growing industrial CBD grade hemp and contributing to the state tax revenues, but the state laws basically won't allow these farms to be profitable.

It sounds like you do indeed know how they were awarded. Because this is exactly how they were awarded

Today is going to be message board gold.

We’re either paying athletes millions, or the people these rumors have convinced we’re going to pay athletes millions are going to spaz when this is nothing.

I’m here for it either way

Looks like the Hunt family is indeed sponsoring NIL deals. Notae is the first to publicly get one.

Haven’t seen one if there is, or how many deals they’re giving out.

IMO, would be best to keep it as vague as possible so they can “negotiate” without the pressure of other deals used against them. They can also leak any number (30 million like AM) to the media without it being true.

What is the value in signing Notae at this point?

It's his last year and the season has already started.

Unclear on that unless it was promised for him to come back.

Gotta think there's some value in getting guys who have performed paid. Not everyone is going to be getting bid massive amounts on out of high school, I'd think being able to show a history of players getting paid after they show they can perform would be a big recruiting tool

IMO, taking care of who we already have sets a better example going forward than just buying recruits.

Also, you can’t advertise deals to kids to sign. This is just legal advertising for what we can do once they have signed.

The Hunts and the Stephens are both billionaire families.

This is a step in the right direction, if you want us to compete with the Texas schools and their oil money.
