Natty sounds so faggy.
It isn’t much more trouble to type national title.
Same goes for scholly.

When you look at the number of ranked teams they beat and it does not matter if it is in the preseason rankings, during the season rankings, or at the end of the season it is not even close. The 2019 LSU team was the best to ever do it. They beat the SEC East champs, the big12 champs, the ACC champs, games they won in Texas and in Alabama, and what they did down the stretch of the last 4 games. Oklahoma and Clemson were both avg in the 40s pts per game and they held both of them combined to 53 while scoring 105 in those same 2 games combined and that was a semi-final and a National Championship game. In the National title game, Clemson was giving up 289 yards a game, LSU had 284 in the 2nd Quater alone. There is no debating.

1996 UK Basketball. 2nd 5 may have been better than the 1st 5. That team was 10 players deep.

Before that it was 2001 Miami for me.

Who gives a flying flip about Basketball?

2011 Alabama, because I doubt we'll ever see another defense hold teams to an average below 10 points per game ever again.

Wasn’t 2019 Bama better than the 2020 Asterisk Bama team?

Too many to choose from, those Miami teams were damn good and loaded with NFL talent. USC back in the day had some top teams championship wise. I can't pick just one team.

I'd like to talk trash and nominate the 1964 Razorbacks who had the #1 defense in the country that year.
Then I remember that All SWC D lineman Jimmy Johnson was 5'7". Loyd Phillips who would the Outland Trophy a couple of years later was the biggest guy on the team at 230 lbs.
Never mind.

WOW. Those 5 teams went 60-4 vs everyone not named LSU but LSU beat all of them by an avg of 19.6
You will most likely never see a team that good again in your lifetime.
