So is Tampa safe from the hurricane? the Tampa Reddit acting like it’s going to be completely unscathed.

Going in south of Naples into completely uninhabited Everglades. Tampa dodged the bullet again. But TWC won’t say that b/c hurricane season has been a ratings washout for them.

So if this thing comes in further south... it will be stronger... but less surge into Tampa Bay becasue of how far south it will be? So some areas will get a stronger hurricane but those are less densely populated areas? Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Save Tampa but other areas get F'd even harder?
My friend lives north of Tampa and she is still getting over a foot of rain

Is this storm still projected to stall once it touches Florida? Woke up to a calm 62 degrees in Houston, down from the high 90s from yesterday.

re: North Dakota or Shreveport?

I’ve lived in North Dakota and the only people that genuinely liked it were people from Montana and Mogadishu, Somalia. The pros were always well you can fish up here.

Would you live in a town like this if you had the family roots? Am I dumb for one day wanting to buy the only house in town that is still owned by a member of my family and live there when I'm older?
I found out that I come from people that helped established middle TN and established two particular counties. I would never live there again because of the past I have connected to that area in general. If you do actually like your town then you do you lol.

Insofar as purchasing a new car or recent model, I'd trust Toyota or Nissan more than I'd trust US manufacturers for quality. (I really don't like to say that as I'm a fervent advocate of "buy American," but our domestic manufacturers need to build a track record turning out quality, long-lasting products again.)
Okay boomer

I don't see why it would crash. Vehicles are pretty much sold as they are made. Many people want ICE not EV's so they are ordering now to get what may be the few remaining years of ICE

It’s not going to crash. The doomers on YouTube have been saying that shvt since Moses walked on this earth. I used to work for Finance up in the big 3, none of that shvt is true. 0% right now is pretty good, so I would definitely capitalize on that.
I think rebates are a thing of the past, but I was able to get my 2022 F150 at 1.9% off the lot. You just have to do more shopping around these days.

I would if it was nearby to use. You think I’m going to risk losing in a street fight. I’ll turn in to a GD savage animal if I have to. Only idiots get themselves involved in street fights.
