It is really uncanny how UGA chokes against Bama.

Yeah yeah yeah they both beat AU on the reg, blah blah blah but it is really stunning how good UGA has been and they just cannot beat Alabama.
While Bama has hardly lost many games at all since 2007, A&M, AU, Ole Miss, Florida, LSU, Clemson, OU, tOSU, hell even South Carolina all somehow managed to catch lightening in a bottle at some point and beat them.

Probably because Georgia is really good and Bama does not overlook them? They rarely overlook LSU (they did this year which was why we stayed close) too. Auburn just spooks them.
The other teams beating them was mostly because Bama overlooked them (South Carolina, especially you).

I mean Kirby was taught by Saban. His defense is Saban's defense. He knows Kirby and his tendencies. He knows all of his previous assistants hence his domination against them.
Saban is the Goat and he has done more than made UGA choke. Most of the west is also staring down the barrel of that gun.

Should have been an unsportsmanlike on that penalty, #10 on bama was clapping and its on film.

I wonder if that is part of the problem. Maybe Kirby and Sabin just know each other too well. You could tell he was in Kirby’s head bad not just last Saturday but the whole week before. Georgia isn’t beating Bama until he can get over that.

I always lacked confidence in UGA when it comes to the big game. But like LSU found out years ago vs the Tide, Bama will find it just as hard to beat UGA a second time should they meet.

Smart is desperately trying to beat the 2021 version of Saban by being the 2009 version of Saban. He apparently does not realize that the 2009 Saban eventually became the 2021 Saban because he realized that the 2009 Saban could no longer win at the highest levels.

Not easy to beat Bama without elite QB play.
Also, Bryce and O-line played lights out for the game. They showed up after all the shite they got for the Auburn game.
