Why do LSU fans not want Alabama to be in the playoffs?

Clearly because they think Alabama is good enough to win it all yet again. Because if they didn’t think that , they would welcome Alabama in the playoffs so that Alabama would be beaten.

I don't care if Bama gets in or not. I just don't want FSU left out.
We need a separate play-in tournament for the 4th spot between Bama, UGA, OSU, and Texas. If you win that, you deserve to be there.

Not it at all. I just want to see the sanctity of the game upheld. I want the regular season games to actually matter. I dont want a group of guys behind closed doors picking teams based on subjective mental gymnastics.
I honestly thin bama is probably the best or second best team right now. Dont think they deserve to make the playoff though. They didnt get it done, AT HOME, in the regular season.

This is a stupid question and a stupid thread. LSU fans don’t like Alabama. Alabama fans don’t like LSU.
Was anyone from Tuscaloosa rooting for Joey B and the boys to bring it all home? It’s been the most compelling and impactful series in the West for ever a decade. Plus, you know, the whole Nick Saban thing. It’s been a significant rivalry, regardless of results, since Les Miles was in town. And anyone expects those same fans to want a competitor to be successful? Please.
A better question is why any Alabama fans expect LSU to want Alabama in the playoffs.
