National man-crush of Deion and Travis Hunter

I'm getting tired of constantly hearing about Colorado on every national college football show. They've made amazing progress but stop acting like they're and actual contender. It's gotten so bad that people think the dude who hit Travis Hunter should be banned from football. Crazy to see grown men fangirling over a college athlete and coach who have no idea they exist.

You may need to chill out a bit
It is what it is. 9.3 million watched a 10 ET game between Colorado and CSU. The talk shows are talking about it because that's what the casual audience is interested in.

The ppl calling for him to be banned are the ppl who can’t see logic due to their feelings. Basically emotionally immature.
Honestly, I don’t think most of them are even football fans. The whole primetime/Colorado thing crossed into pop culture.

People better get used to it! You may hate it now but watch how recruiting goes. Deion is gonna kill it. Love him or Hate him, they call him Prime Time for a reason

Hunter and I have something in common!
Our livers are hurting. Obviously mine is self inflicted from bourbon.
But I can sympathize.

People who complain about Deion and Colorado on the internet are only boosting national interest and viewership even more

He gets ratings and the media promoting him gets even higher ratings.
Some of it is silly like : "Can they make the playoff or win the Pac 12?"
I've heard those questions on ESPN as if they are legit.
But they will celebrate Prime and that team as long as people want to watch. And right now, they want to.

Love him or hate him he has always been a walking promo. Get used to it. a few losses will temper the attention given the team. but overall interest in college football growing is a good thing.

and I'm tired of people constantly bitching about them. So we're even.

ROFLMFAO
As soon as he starts going up against real opponents and gets his arse handed to him, this imbecilic hype will crash.

People are being paid to push him. The PAC 12 thinks he can save that dead in the water conference and they are putting a ton of money into that bet. Teams are even being paid to lose to them.

One thing about it, we'll find out Saturday. If they win, then they'll have earned all the praise they've been getting up until now, if they get routed, which I suspect, this will all start to quiet down.

Travis Hunter hype is real and deserved. Kid is playing both ways at a high level. I personally think had he played a full year he would have had to be invited to NYC for the Heisman.

You do realize the PAC won’t exist in a year. Colorado is moving to the truck stop 16.

I hear more about Deion from posters on here starting threads about how much they're tired of hearing about him more than I do anywhere else

Even my grandma who barely knows sh*te about football has mentioned Deion several times, he's a true marketing guru and has these TV stations doing free recruiting for him.

I'm taking my son on a visit to UC Boulder next week actually. Has nothing to do with Deion but I'm curious to see what kind of buzz there is there about him.

CFB fans for the past decade.....I wish ESPN would talk about other schools besides just those that will contend for the playoffs like they used to
2024...ESPN talks about schools that wont make the playoffs and CFB FANS.....I wish they would stop talking about schools like Colorado and stop pretending like they are an actual contender!!!

I like his throwback 1070's pimp style but favor old school "throw some dirt on it" type coaches.

I won’t lie, dude won me over with tough talk and discipline-based rhetoric when he got to Boulder. Thought he was the real deal and predicted he will win and turn that program around, and he has and probably will continue.
But now we know he’s just a black man race hustler with a huge racist chip on his shoulder. He i s cashing in and doubling down on this “strong black men against whitey” message and agenda. Playing up the hat and shades in press conferences and buying the whole team sunglasses. He’s so oppressed that his 20-something year old college athlete son just bought a Rolls Royce.
