Word out of Alabama camp is that Dylan Lonergan has the strongest arm and the most pro potential of all the QB's on the roster. Lonergan was the other QB in this most current class with Eli.

While is unlikely Lonergan will start this year, he is getting looks in the QB competition because is skill set.

If Lonergan is that guy now or in the future looks like Eli will need a new place to go.

The Gators will probably be very willing at that point. Maybe even Aggie again.

Eli Holstein

3rd best QB in his HS district goes to Alabama.

Would have never happened back in Saban’s prime.

maybe just maybe he was not planning on starting as a freshman or sophomore.. things can change quickly in college football...worst case scenario is gets some good coaching and competition and moves on.. really not that big of a deal

Went to same high school and was not overly impressed watching him. Coaching staff basically made him throw slants and screen passes all year.

if it's not obvious that the point is that his likely #1 transfer destination is LSU then idk why you're even on this board.

Holsteins weren’t happy they took Lonergan. Bama also has a commitment from Julian Sayin who is the #2 QB in the current class. Holestein won’t be there next year.

Ehhhh I don’t get the hate for the kid. As an LSU fan and Louisiana resident, I generally don’t want to see LA kids succeed at other SEC schools (selfish I know). But this kid wasn’t a drama queen or led on any schools that I remember, so I’ll refrain from any negative comments or cheers for failure.

I’m sure there are a lot of kids that think LSU are their #1 transfer destination.

LSU never recruited him that hard
I was shocked Bama offered
Holstein left STM when Walker Howard beat him out
He will end up somewhere like La Tech or UAB at some point
