Billy Napier (6-7) - Vanderbilt (5-7), 2022

Nick Saban (7-6) - Louisiana Monroe (6-6), 2007

Kirby Smart (8-5) - Vanderbilt (6-7), 2016

Josh Heupel (7-6) - Florida (6-7), 2021

Brian Kelly (10-4) - Texas A&M (5-7), 2022

Saban, and it’s not really even close

This is a testament to the job these 2 coaches have done in recruiting and coaching since each took over their programs.

The Saban ULM loss is the worst, but the UF and UGA losses to Vandy are more jarring because they have had much more recent success. Bama was a total rebuild when Saban arrived.

Texas and OU take over for Florida and Tennesee for Big 6 status, so Brett Veneables's 0-49 Texas loss is up there.

I’m quoting this so everyone knows how stupid you are.

3rd best loss in Alabama history behind the 2nd best of UF 2008 and LSU 2011.

I would say either of these 2 due to the sheer magnitude of the beatdowns. All of the other games were decided by a touchdown or less.

Big 6 status

Big 6 refers to the six teams - Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee - that have won every SEC Championship in football since 1963. Last I looked, neither Texas nor Oklahoma has even played an SEC game yet.

Saban's UAB loss might have been worse than ULM

Oh I forgot Auburn was a thing. Tennessee can come back to the Big 6, you're out.

Recap Story

Kirby Smart was soooo fricking close to losing to Nicholls State as well. It was about to get fricking wild in Thibodaux, LA.

Anytime you lose to A&M, you should be embarrassed.

I'd say Saban, but it's really close to Kelly's when you consider the talent that LSU had and the fact he still managed to win the SEC West.

That A&M game is still a head scratcher for me

It was explained to you what the "Big 6" stands for.

Apparently, you are too damn stupid to comprehend.

That’s when I knew it was gonna be a rough season. I was actually surprised that team made a bowl game.

Lol.
Saban took over in 2007.
In 2005, Bama was 10-2 and ranked as high as 4th. You have no idea what you're talking about.
