With rumors of Oregon, Washington, Cal and Stanford to the B10 and supposedly FSU, Clemson, UNC and a Virginia/VT looking to break out of the ACC early, how in the world would a 20 team conference even work?

The SEC hasn't managed to figure out the new schedule with that other tx team and that one from ok joining..... you think anyone cares about some far fetched idea about a 20 team conference?

No divisions, nine conference games, four permanent rivals, play everyone within three seasons:

Those teams can’t afford to leave acc without some huge lawsuits with the tv deal in place till 2036
Espn really screwed the pooch and caused all this to get their playoff
Now they need to do what’s right and suspend the acc contract

This is actually pretty brilliant!
If we had to go to 20 this is it.

FSU seems ready to burn the ACC down, regardless of the price.

Start by dropping Vandy and Missouri. If you’re going to high grade actually do the thing

Where do these rumors come from?

We've won the East twice in the past decade, maybe drop teams who haven't been to a conference championship since we have first.

Lately, from FSU's Athletic Director, President, and Board members telling the press that they are leaving unless the ACC pays them infinity billion dollars.
On the PAC-side, it's the silence that is deafening. The fact that they still don't have a media deal, or even appear to be close to one, does not bode well for that conference's future. If I'm Washington or Oregon, I'm begging the B1G for table scraps at this point.

Something tells me you were allergic to these in your school days.

Actually a pretty good set-up. Clemson is a must have matchup every year. UNC and UGA are good ones as well and Vanderbilt balances it out.

Would Ole Miss fans rather give up one of Mississippi State, Alabama, Auburn, and LSU in order to keep playing Vandy?

Yes I’m fine with giving up bama

Honestly shocked to hear that. Talking to fans of the Alabama and Mississippi schools about this permanent rivals thing has always led me to believe that y'all REALLY want to keep playing each other given the proximity between the campuses, history, etc.

Bama refused to play us back in the day.

I like UGA's slate of permanent opponents.

I hope this doesn't happen, but I'm afraid it's going to.
