I guess I just don't understand this thinking in this context. Especially considering Freeze would literally still be the coach in Oxford AND Ole Miss wouldn't have dealt with 3 disastrous years following if not for his personal shortcomings. I'm not saying it necessarily precludes him from being hired but it has to be evaluated.

It all depends on who it is. If it is Kiffin, Prime, Freeze. I give them my full support. If it’s Grimes or Lanning they have my support until I take it away. Anyone else no, because there is no excuse for anything less than a home run hire.

I stopped supporting Hasrsin when he hired Kesseu and Schmeed as OC and DC. I knew he wasn't really trying at that point.

Of course. I supported Harsin until the boosters sabotaged him and the writing was on the wall that he’d never have a chance of succeeding at Auburn.

Yeah those big bad boosters….same ones that paid him $5M +, gave him millions for assistant and support staff, funded NIL, built a new $100M football facility for him to run his program out of and gave him a recruiting budget that he used about 1/8 of because he’s lazy as frick.
