This reasoning seems to presume that Hugh Freeze hasn't repented. Maybe that's true, but I don't know how you can be so sure.

Completely fair statement.

I base my stance completely off of his history and patterns of decision making and behavior. He's 53 years old. The dm issue was less than 6 months ago.

Lol what the bury you statement. It doesn’t have to be a discussion Over this thread I’ve posted my email on here before. I’ll post it again for whoever wants to discuss biblical theology.

Not that you aren’t an absolute whiz at biblical stuff because I’m sure you are, but just listen to yourself.

Ok and… I call it like I see it. Don’t come on here and say I’m bastardizing the redemption Story because someone doesn’t like a coach and wants act self righteous. I posted twice in the thread it wasn’t any support for Freeze but people that act like they have a moral superiority because they haven’t done what someone else has done is a dumb take. My point was we all sin. Everyone of us daily. God sees no difference in that sin. Socially it maybe irresponsibly for someone in Freeze’s position but the poster pointed out Christian’s that he can’t stand when they do it. So
He would be accepted doing the same acts if he were atheist?

Freeze:

Having to beg for the job.
New conservative President.
AD from Mississippi St.

Basically seems like an impossibility that he gets the job.

I'll support any coach we hire as long as they win. I have my list of top choices like everyone else but I'm willing to give everyone their fair shot. On the flip side, as soon as I feel we are not showing any promise I will kick you to the curb.

Hahaha no... I gave Harsin the benefit of the doubt but if I have to google the next coach again I'm getting a better hunting lease for next year.

Anyone that's been kicked around on this board though I'll absolutely support and I'm going to end up watching the games regardless because I'm a hopeless addict.

Back to the original programming… I hope the fans have the patience. 2 years before we judge what we have regardless of hire until they just aren’t doing their job like recruiting and such. We are in a tough spot right now with essentially 3 dead recruiting cycles. Yes I know the portal can help. But guys go o to the portal for different reasons some that look great turn out not so great and some that don’t look great turn out to be exactly what you need for you team.

I agree. I think the only way to help that is to push back on social media when you see immediate negativity

Depends on the hire. If it's somebody like Kiffin, Prime, Freeze, Aranda, Lanning, hell even Stoops or Grimes, I'll support.

I put on blinders when he started his "work, hard work" speeches out. I actually thought he would, I lost the realization that not being able to leave the Auburn zip codes very often to prospect for players was not "Work, hard work"

I feel like those water bottle showers after the few wins were preplanned to make it seem like the players were actually fully on board with him.

Sure. I supported Harsin. I didn’t like the hire but would’ve happily been wrong had he turned out to be a good fit.

I just hope we make a splash this time so I will be disappointed if it’s another bland hire.

I supported Harsin until the SJSU game. I knew he was in over his head going forward after that. The AU best writers verified all of my beliefs of what was going on behind the scenes

He lost me when we were non-competitive against Penn State at home. I was just kinda hoping the SJSU game was a sleepwalker

Do you know the man? Have you read and educated yourself on the truth behind what went down? Have you sat in a room with him and a high school coach, the player and his parents in attendance. Listened to him admit his faults? This infuriates me and what is wrong with Christianity today. All you self righteous people who tell clean dirty jokes, cuss at work, talk another look at a woman and put on a show on Sunday's.....
People like you are why people like me do not attend church! I got to get off this site today before I lose it!
This is football and not church!
Deion, Kiffen,etc...there is not one coach who would work harder than Hugh Freeze.
I am glad you are not God!

The church is full of sinners. Don’t let some especially hypocritical sinners ruin it for you.

You can do the Christian thing and forgive someone/acknowledge that we all make mistakes and still not want to be associated with them/make them the head of your program.

Especially when the issue was directly related to the job he would be asked to do at Auburn.

If my plumber got caught cheating on his wife I could look past that, if he was caught stealing from a house he was working on or sabotaging the plumbing to add more work/fees, I would be looking for a new plumber.
