He will probably get shite canned after the Arky game just to save him from having to go back to AU.

I don't believe he survives the full season which is why it would have been best to part ways now take our lumps and be ready to go with a splash hire.

We've prolonged the misery

Yes. We didn't keep him now to fire him midseason

If we have a bad season next year and if we are smart, we will fire him before the end of the season so that we can get a jump start over all the other programs looking for a quality head coach.

Regular season, yes. Chiz was fired after the UGA game but asked that we not announce and allow him to coach until the end of the season (man of character). Tater Tot wanted a guarantee he would be back or he was going to quit (scum, low integrity guy).

What will Gus choose if we start out 5-4.

October 6 he will either be gone or on his way to another fat extension. That will have us past the should/must wins.

That schedule is brutal. Good chance we start out 2-4

I'm in a negative mindset which I don't like... I'm thinking 6-6 and fired after the bammer loss.
However, I hope he's learned from his mistakes and can turn it around.

I get a feeling we are going to do the most auburn thing ever and run the table next year followed by giving him an extension lol

That schedule has 5 almost sure wins... @ark, ole miss at home, and 3 non-conf games.... Oregon, @A&M, @LSU, MSU, and @UF are tossups... win 2 and we’re looking at another 7-5 season.

Will be interested to see what Hebert does at Oregon... he’s said he’s coming back next year... but some think he could be the first QB taken in May, if he declares.

A lot depends on QB play next year and we don't know who it's going to be. If I was a betting man I would say it's going to be Malik with a outside chance of it being Bo.
