I am more and more impressed with Texas Tech’s defense and their DC. Semi-topical because he was Sumrall’s DC for a year at Troy, his last year I believe.

Texas Tech may have the largest NIL budget in the country. They are super talented.

They are. And they play very well. Their defense is fantastic.

Durkin needs to be our DC. Let's bring Brohm in and pay Durkin whatever it takes to stay

Brohm is in a battle at home against Cal

That's fine. I think Ron would have the defense right back where they were in a year or two. Might take a step back in year 1 if we lose as many guys as we expect. But the talent will be replaced.

Its probably better if they lose. Gets them out of the playoff race.

Yeah, I don't know why people think that that we get to pick a new Head Coach's staff.

Or HC

But my list even though it’s worth as much as a $2 dollar hooker on half off day

1) I am the odd one who doesn’t have a current (or ever) HC on their list much less #1. My #1 Brian Hartline. A lot of the top coaches (Lanning, Smart, Golish or however you spell his name) were hired as coordinators. Someone is going to take a shot at him soon, and I truly think whoever that is will be immensely pleased.

2) Brohm I loved what he did at Purdue. He took a true freshman Rondel Moore to a freshman All American season.

3) Durkin our players love him. Our defense is awesome. And mainly our players love him. He could retain most of the star players.

4) Jeff Lebby he actually has MSU decent this season. His offense is elite especially where he could get studs

I want no part of Dilly or Sunbelt Billy er I mean Sumrall.

Dillingham is better than Lebby. Lebby has made some wildly baffling decisions this season that have lost games.

Sadly enough, nobody asks our opinion. We are just the fans. Only the boosters have an opinion that matters.

I'd support a hire like that. It'll be interesting to see if Cohen interviews Hartline and/or any other coordinators (aside from Durkin).

I like hartline too. But he's a guy alot of programs are gonna want to go coach a lower P4 program for a couple years but he's also the type of guy that could skip that step.

Durkin's stock has bounced up and down wildly for me. I was down during the game and after but after the press conference and post-game speech im back up again. If he can beat Bama and the defense doesnt fall apart in the second half I wouldn't be mad at Cohen if he goes with him.

I don't think he's a long term answer.
