If Auburn can’t make a top tier hire shut the damn program down… it’s a waste of time

$5MM to buy out Durkin
$10MM minimum difference between UF and AU for Sumrall total.

That's insane for an entity that hasn't proven anything.

This is $3MM a year minimum for talent and a proven defense.

Refreshing to see an admin that is not reckless and that is adapting to the new money game.

He doesn't have the resources Tulane has. They dont even have a stadium.

I've seen some reports that USF has the most expensive roster in the AAC.

Which would make his record look worse than it is, and it might be why Bartoo's analytics has his Coach Effect so low.

This is dumb. Telling coaches who they can and can’t have on their staff does not make us an attractive job.
This has always been Auburn's problem. No matter how big the school is it always has a few people in the wrong spots messing with too much for us to get a quality coach.

We have a bunch of Yes men from the Boosters to the last coach.

The fact that Sumrall and Durkin are the only two options in your post shows how stupid the admin actually is

According to Google, Memphis, Tulane and UTSA have the top 3 most expensive rosters in the AAC.

This is the typical dumbass Auburn fan response.

Watching yall lose your shite over this is more entertaining than the games. I hope we hire Durkin just so I can watch your head pop off.

Well of the player money is pure speculation anyway and nobody really has a clue what they are talking about.

LOL I assure you that wont happen. If they hire Durkin I'm taking a big step back until he actually wins something. You can hang back and enjoy your "roster retention" and pray that the team wins something in Cam Coleman's final year at Auburn next season .

Joey Freshwater would love Lake Martin and hanging out in Pearlville

He’s always asked Ole Piss to fill the stadium. Our dumpster fire program has shown Fans will always Sell Out

Cohen and Kiffin throwing smoke to LSU, UF, and OM so Landry doesn’t know this time.

Back the Brinks truck up and build
His Lakehouse out of Yellowwood. Our Christmas present will be Lane Under a Toomers Tree

One last way Kiffin can troll Saban. My lips to Gods ears.

Being an Auburn fan is being constantly pissed and not even knowing who to be pissed at. Cohen is the easy target here, but do we really know it’s him hamstringing coaching candidates and not the PTB hamstringing Cohen?

So firing Cohen would accomplish nothing but instant gratification to a pissed off fanbase, and a false sense of hope that things will ever change.

This whole thing is like watching drunk dudes try to pick up women at a bar. The later it gets, the more the 6s start to look like 9s. It's all fun and games till the sun comes up.

Auburn is going to be fine. We just need a coach who can hire competent staff and let them do their jobs, instill pride and toughness in the team, and sell the program to the fans and families. None of these coaching options are great. We've been through worse.

I’m sure Auburn will be fine at some point. May be 20 years from now.
