His INT ratio was from trying to make too many plays, not an accuracy issue

And how many INT's did he throw tonight? Nothing he threw came even close to being picked. At the very least he seems to know what to do with the ball. Also showed solid pocket presence (complete opposite from Frazier) and didn't take any ridiculous sacks.

He'll need a few more games to settle down before a judgement can be made. Oh, he's not Cam Newton? Holy frick, pull his scholarship. You mean to tell me he's not going to put up an all-time historic season, win us an MNC, and go on to be the #1 overall pick in one years time?

After what I saw out of him, I'm trying to figure out how we'd be in worse shape with the true Freshman starting. The kid has a cannon, but is inaccurate as hell.

Man..... I heard this same shite the year we went OT vs Utah State. I saw some encouraging things, but I saw a lot of the same shite from last year too.

True, but it took a damn miracle for us to get to OT against Utah State.

Tonight we did lead the vast majority of the game and did leave plenty of points on the field.

I'm not unhappy with what I saw tonight (sorta feel so-so). The MSU game will tell us a lot more.

I bet he will be staying late in practice running drills to fix that problem.

Give him a couple of games. He missed some passes, but was poised and made good decisions and protected the ball. His receivers didn't do him a ton of favors either. I don't know the numbers, but he had solid second half.

I'm still pissed about our pass defense. That QB threw over 300 yards. I kno we got 3 picks but jesus I guess at least they know they have ALOT to work on.

He wasn't bad. Barely overthrew some deep passes. Had nerves for the first part of the game and settled down in the 2nd half.

This was luck. He was insanely inaccurate. We just got lucky there wasnt a warm body where he threw it.

Calm down you bipolar overreacting drama queen. shite. He has little touch on his throws and isn't accurate in the pocket. He's semi-accurate rolling out of the pocket, and can escape pressure so those are good qualities.

I don't ever expect to see another cam. Definately had rustled jimmied the first half. Overthrew in both distance and velocity. He'll settle in on passing. What impressed me was his ability to avoid the sack when the pocket broke down. Great feet.

He'll never be Cam.......closer to Vick IMO.

He wasn't that bad. In fact, he wasn't really bad, just not good either. Missed open receivers, but hit quite a few on short and intermediate routes when he rolled out. Also no turnovers, had a TD called back, and showed he can scramble on occasion. I would call it about as expected in his first start ever. Very so-so.
