Hopefully you’ll still be around after FL and AU both beat this shitty LSU team.

I mean, can a passing game coordinator make Nix hit a open guy in the endzone?

Yeah, but Kenny Dillingham has energy.

We have had 3 OCs under Gus. Our passing game has looked almost the exact same every year.

Pretty sure we could hire Mike Leach as OC and we'd still be running the same pass concepts

Mullen is laying the game plan to beat LSU’s offense. They’re defense is bad. Long drives and take the crowd out of the game. Limit Burrow’s ability to do those quick passes. Of course we don’t win in Red Stick.

Burrow is having the game of his life against FL. Glad he's getting it out of his system now

Gus just may be a mad genius. He made such bad offensive coaching hires, a lot of Auburn fans were happy to rehire (JB Grimes) or re-promote (GUS) as OC.

We rehired the guys we fired after we fired the guys we were happy to hire to replace the guys we have now... it’s confusing

Burrow torched that gameplan...88% completion rate/295yds/3TDs/0 INTs. That's wild.

As for this thread, sometimes systems and players align. That's what's happening for LSU.

Absolutely no guarantee it will work when Burrow leaves.

And they ran strong on that vauted FL Defense. over 200 yds on just 24 attempts.

We can't compare to LSU's offense. period.

Just watching the 2 offenses in LSU and FL, made me dream of the day that we have an offense and a coordinator that knows how to meld an efficient passing scheme w/ a strong running game.

Passes over the middle...routes that were well planned and thought out...QBs that could throw it to a TE or in the middle of the field.

...I dream....

No one can right now. They have a great scheme and players to match.

At the same time, trying to recreate it is purely reactionary. Again, I’d like to see it with another QB outside of Burrow before making judgement.

LSU is a buzzsaw. No way we win that game. UGA has shown they are very beatable and I expect to win that game in JHS. Alabama in JHS will be played tough. That one could go either way
