Think we're going to miss Cam Coleman this year?

He's certainly got the skills. Dude is a playmaker.
Could be a top10 draft pick.

Potential.
He has potential.
We needed a fresh start in our program.
He got a fresh start in Texas.
He made some plays. He underperformed at times.
It is what it is.

He wasn’t worth the $ we would have had to pay to keep him imo

I don't really see it as "missing him." I expect him to find success. These days it's more like new year, new roster and you don't really think about the guys that left because most of them do leave.
I don't really have a ton of fun Cam Coleman memories. What stands out when I think of him are him dropping wide open slants, JA overthrowing him, and the IB fumble. Yes, no denying his talent, but I'm not gonna think about him unless I am watching Texas.

His effort and "want to win" was pretty sorry. His talent was good.

Yea, he had some phenomenal catches but just no consistency. It isn't like he really did that much while here (not completely his fault alone). The only thing to miss is the potential of his talent.
It will suck seeing it "if" it gets realized elsewhere, and then I will definitely not enjoy knowing what could have been.

Yes, when a quick slant is thrown and caught for a first down instead of tipped and intercepted, I’ll pour one out and remembered the good old days of Coleman dropping it.

Yes. Without question.
Would he have reached his peak here? And showcased his full ability? Probably not. I don’t view BB as a great passer or even top half of the SEC.
Cam Coleman made the decision we all would’ve made.

One of the podcasters did speak with his dad and he said it was not a matter of money, Auburn was right there (supposedly 3 million) but you tell me what he should do.
He has one year left, Texas roster is loaded on both sides and what they were missing they went and bought. They have a Heisman hopeful at QB. A coach who has been there a few years and the players know the system.
Or
Auburn with a totally new offense.
The offense that loves to spread the ball to several players.
A new coach.
50 new players on the roster.
A QB who has never played at this level.
He also just signed an nil deal with Celsius, he Dante Moore, Chris Henry, and Bryce Underwood.
I agree with others, he is a 5 star talent, but the effort is far less than the billing.

Yes. It is what it is. We will miss him regardless of how much he fricked up

Not really. People were dogging on Cam for giving up on routes, not blocking worth a damn, and dropping balls on the regular the whole time he was here.
He obviously has all world talent and potential, but so far he hasn't had effort and dedication to match.

He never changed the narrative. Loafing has for sure been brought up many times
I mean he left.
