If you think about it , could something be coming on Pearls involvement with the Person mess? Hence why JJ announced stepping down (finally). Seems odd both these stories come out at the same time.

There is no way, Pearl is on the hot seat right now, after 1 exhibition game.

I can see him being on the hot seat at end of year, if we don't at least make the NIT.

But if he had nothing to do with Person's antics, and he is without 2 starters for any length of time, I can see, if Pearl still shows improvement, he could get 1 more year.

But no way, he is gone now or in the near future.

The only way they are even discussing getting rid of him is if there is something that implicates him with Person.
