I read the indictment, however, it could be plausible that the people JGT is talking to know details of the internal investigation. These details may contain different information than a federal indictment that focused entirely on assistants.

Exactly. We were a shite program for years. Recruiting finally starting to pick up. Let the man do his job, he’s done a good bit since getting here. Im happy with Pearl for now.

That could be. Your comment was off base for what we know at this point. Chuck was looking out for Chuck. It was pretty clear in the indictment. Anything else is speculation.

There is a lot of good arguments for Pearl having a hot seat.

Went and read it. JGT prior to JJ announcing said there was some sort of deadline yesterday with regards to the FBI findings. But was unsure what that was about. Then started speculating. Document turnover? Meeting with Folks (NCAA, FBI) folks getting lawyers.

THat was before the Assistant coaches started spilling the beans. PM said last week that a lot more would be surfacing in the coming weeks.

We cannot and will never do better than Bruce. The responses in this thread are boarderline insane. Refruiting is better than ever, he has sold out season tickets consecutive years, he's a media darling. Sure we need to win more but we will always be competetive with him.

Those are all important parts of the job, but he's terrible with the Xs and Os. No halftime adjustments. Little ability to mold the players. He is a great salesman though....

I don't see us hiring a coach that is surefire improvement on Bruce. Any coach that pulls off a NCAAT is jumping ship to a better program
