IIRC we looked to be raining 3s in the last game against UT and there was hope we could carry hot shooting from the freshmen into the postseason

Yeah, we didn't have a consistent enough go to scorers. If Doughty and McCormick were on we could have made the Sweet 16 maybe, but if they were off a bit we could have easily gotten bounced in the second round. We weren't playing great at the end of the year, lots of barely winning games in OT and then losing 4 of our last 7-8.

Harper definitely makes us a Sweet 16 team probably, but even with Jared that was a pretty flawed team offensively. Now add Harper and replace Wiley with someone like Kessler or Broome, then we'd be talking.

He was integral in the Sweet 16 against UNC when Jared got in foul trouble. That half was probably J’Von’s most clutch moment as a Tiger.

I actually think he was more clutch against New Mexico State as well. He was our X factor that game. Everyone struggled but him.

Yeah. Mitchell ended up being a huge loss. I get why he left but it still stings.

It appears something is going on at Rutgers. Lost 2/3 of their commits and one of their best players, correct me if I’m wrong on those specifics. Maybe Ace is still on the table.

Did they have a popular assistant coach move on?

According to their fans, their NIL is basically non-existent. I feel like every fanbase thinks their NIL sucks though so who knows.

They seem to really be in it for Dylan Harper and that has to be driven by some NIL money.

So Wednesday is the day for Jaylin and Johni to make their NBA decisions, correct?

Don’t think he’s made a decision.

I think he’s in the same spot as Broome weighing his options with draft, G league, Auburn (probably realistically NIL)
