KD officially to the portal as expected. Hope he finds a solid school he can start at for his last year.

Id like to see him go to like Georgia State or somewhere he can put up 15+ shots a game. I’d for sure tune in lol

So Pettiford likely takes KD’s spot as the backup 2 and Howard takes Lior’s spot at the 3.

Trilly Donovan thinks Aden and Cardwell both also enter the portal. Sounds like whether either stays or goes, we will go after a portal player at both of those spots.

Why on Earth would Cardwell transfer?

He’s played the role of backup for 4 years. Might just want to go somewhere and start.

Seems to me like he would have a good shot at starting if he came back.

But I know nothing.

I love Dylan and this year he was the best backup C in the league. He wouldn't cut it as a high major starter though.

For us to be where we want to be we need more than Dylan has to offer at the starting spot. He’s great as a backup who injects energy and defends the rim well, but ultimately he’s far too limited on offense to start. Plus he might foul out of every game if he starts.

More likely he leaves to go to ministry college than transfer to play basketball.

It’s pretty easy to infer that the only 5 star and only McDonald’s All American has the largest NIL deal.

That’s typically how it works.

Do the boosters/donors just line up the recruiting rankings and bid in direct relation to their on3 ranking? Even after guys have played in college..?? No true supply/demand based on productivity? Seems odd

You have no clue how it works. You’re just guessing like everyone else. If Broome comes back he would likely be making more than any other Auburn player will have made off NIL.

I'm pretty sure Aden was the highest this past season. I think Broome has an offer that will blow Aden's out of the water if he takes it.

We need to do everything we can do we keep Cardwell as a back up. Whatever we need to pay, pay it. There wasn't a better back up C in the league. Give him Adens money.

I'd love to have him return as back up. Question is, does he want to return as a back up? He avg just under 15 min per game this season. That's about as much as he needs with his offensive abilities.

I don't know about this.

What are the odds that we find a back up C better than him? Almost for sure it would be a downgrade in player. Now factor in that he's basically the pulse of the team and all the intangible things he brings.. No one we get could can replace that.
