Regardless, we got hardware this year, which is always a plus. Hate this for the guys though.

All we gotta do is kick the shite out of UConn.

I’m optimistic.

We’re going to Boston which is an awesome town and we are hitting our stride

Bammer and Moo st have to go to Los Angeles and play in the same bracket as UNC and Michigan st

The final 4 team had to go through a murderers row, no reason this team can't do the same. Guarantee Bruce uses us as the lowest 4 seed as ammo. He will have them playing with a huge chip on their shoulder.. maybe just he extra bit of focus we need to win it.

What the hell does the committee even look at when determining seeding?

I agree, although, our fan base travels great! Sweet 16 is a big game and Boston is a destination location.

A lot of Auburn fans will make a mini vacation out of it.

Boston clam chowder at Legal Seafood is worth trip.

The regular season with a slight emphasis on the end of the year. UK as a 3 is wild.

UConn to Boston is about an hour and a half drive. That really is a home game for them.

Kansas is being rated by history, not this year’s performance

Iowa State is better than Marquette

If there's any coach to use this to an advantage I trust it's Bruce. I'm over it now and in let's ride mode but it's just the incompetence of the people in charge that is infuriating.

Kansas is 9-9 in their last 18 games,1-4 in their last 5, and have lost by 50 points in their last 2 games and lost by 29 a month ago to Texas Tech and is a higher seed than us.

It seems like the committee has decided great wins are what they care about more than anything. A&M being in comfortably and Kansas and Kentucky being a 4 and 3 seem to point to that. They don’t care about bad losses and the metrics as much

This is probably an accurate take. Hopefully next year we get some chances with the early tournaments. Man that Baylor loss was probably a big factor.

Ok fine, but be consistent. Also, great wins in November bfd when you can't win in February/March

I like and appreciate that they value the start of the season. It will always madden me that they stop paying attention to conference tournaments, aside from AQ situations.
