Hoping we get Cleveland to pull the trigger. The jump he made from year 1 to 2 was impressive.

It seems that Bruce has some unknown prospect in hand that they are waiting to hit portal, Cleveland may be the back up option.

Edit, sorry I see this was discussed on last page.

We have 4 scholarships to give, CallFoy's wish list:
1. Jaylin returns
2. Get a portal starter at SF
3. Get a portal back up that can play stretch 4
4. Get a portal back up that can play combo guard
5. Give Lior final scholarship

He still playing along side Dillingham? That’s an impossible backcourt.

Cleveland not announcing for a couple days or weeks doesn’t give me the warm and Fuzzies. Mizzou people feel really confident. (Hoke said he wasn’t option #1 and I have a hard time believing that.)

Hoke has been adamant that the staff’s top guy is eventually going to declare. Hope that ends up happening and we aren’t slow playing people for no reason.

I think Hoke’s source is Steven Pearl so I wouldn’t be shocked.

That’s been my suspicion too for his source. I just hope things actually play out like the staff think they will.

Good. We'd be in big trouble if they didn't

A guy on Twitter named Kyle tweeted that it is Kobe Brown of Mizzou. Don’t know where he got this or just made it up. Brown declared for the draft but retained his eligibility to return.

Please. I've wanted him to transfer to AU for years.

He's really more of a 4 though. Would be a weird fit at the 3. I think there's little chance he's the one they speak of.

I’ve seen his name thrown around as well and it just seems like wishful thinking. Also fully agree that he’s 100% a 4, which is fine because he’s better than Jaylin but doesn’t fit the description people have said.

Tyrin Lawrence From Vandy is on campus.

He’s a wing

quote:

Lawrence, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, entered the transfer portal on Monday. His decision to leave Nashville came after starting 34 games for Vanderbilt in 2022-23. As a junior last season, Lawrence averaged 13.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2 assists.

He was one of the more accurate shooters in the SEC. Lawrence shot 50.2% from the floor and 36% from 3-point range. He finished 11th in the SEC in field goals made (165) and points (470).

Tyrin Lawrence is in Auburn. Yessss. I prefer him to any of the other targets we have discussed at the 3. He's a little smaller than the other targets but the best of the group.

Aden - Jones - Lawrence gives me similar vibes to what we had in Jared - Bryce - Doughty in 2019.
