That announcer is Coach Joe Ciampi, possibly the best AU coach ever. His lady tiger basketball tms wer amazing in the 80’s early 90’s.

I love how a guy falls down untouched and they call a foul.

39 pts not bad but it’s SE La., should be 49. The stats and watching this one has been tough

Nice post move by Johnson there. The 4 spot just can’t buy a basket the first 2 games

Auburn is gonna have to be better at the 4. Johnson and Williams are a combined 1-15 tonight. Terrible.

How does their guy fall out of bounds with the ball and it stays their ball?

We need the OP to remove BAYLOR from the post header and put in todays’ opponent. Maybe that will wake us up a bit…

Man what a bad stretch of shots, mishandles at the rim, and defense. Seemed like when Lior went in we just shut down the intensity.

Some good 3’s.

I hate watching our switch defense. It is so unbelievably painful. Same as last year. Just run some rub plays around the key and we will lose someone for a backcut or 3.

We are still fouling way to much on defense

Not a bad win. Was expecting to win by about 20 or so. Didn’t think we’d cover the 24.5 line. What felt like a poor shooting night would have been one of our better games last year.

Like most offensive teams, when they’re on it’s going to be fun as hell to watch. And when things go cold it’s going to frustrating as hell.

Jaylin Williams becomes the player with the most Auburn wins in Auburn history.

Congrats to Coach Pearl on becoming the 3rd most wins as an Auburn coach

It looked like we were working through rotations.

We’ve got better shooting than last season.

Aden can be an all timer IF he stays a few years.

Yea watching a lot of our guys shoot, their shots look good. They are just streaky it seems. So, when we are on, can play with anyone. If we have extended cold patches and keep fouling like we are, we will dig ourselves holes we can’t get out of quickly in games.

I’ll settle for games where the majority of the time our opponent isn’t in the bonus with 8+ minutes left. That would make a world of difference for us

Aden is our best 3pt shooter since Bryce. This teams got a long ways to go though. We looked good against Baylor first half. I figured it would take us about half the year to figure ourselves out. Tonight was a little underwhelming but not necessarily surprising.

I’ve been excited about Aden since he committed. He’s hyper confident and plays like the modern, aggressive smaller guards. He’s the real deal, im selfishly hoping he doesn’t play himself into a good draft pick this year lol

Upside of this team is high. Schedule is difficult. Gotta get better protecting the basketball and late clock defense and offense.

I’m curious to see how Bruce tweaks rotations this season. The best lineup is Aden, Jones, CBM, Jaylin, and Broome. The issue is if you start this lineup, you’re going to end up with a good bit of this lineup, Tre, KD, Moore, Chaney, and Dylan where KD is the only scorer in the group.

I would actually like to see Denver get some time at the 3 and try a three guard lineup.
