Setting the AG commentary aside for a moment - do you think Georgia or Alabama would be sitting one of their best defensive players in a situation like this? I certainly appreciate doing things by the book but at what point do we stop trying to be the noble loser?

What a stupid rebuttal.

What rules were violated?

You're the one that wants to clean house based on absolutely zero knowledge of the situation, but you do you. You're entitled to your overreaction.

It’s been widely reported that he’s being held out due to a compliance issue. That is a fact. Please feel free to enlighten us on the details. Surely you know them based on your holier than thou response.
My question still stands - do you think Alabama or UGA would hold one of their best defensive players out of a game like this due to a compliance issue? Any compliance issue? The answer is no. This would be swept under the rug and anyone that came sniffing would get the middle finger or worse.

The NCAA does not hold Auburn in the same light as it does UGA or bama.........especially bama. Previous history has proven.

Wait, you don't have the details? Yet you want to gut the entire compliance department? I'm shocked. Holier than thou? No. More reasonable than thou? Sure.

What an absurd question. How can you expect anyone to be able to answer it when you have absolutely zero idea what the actual compliance issue is.

It doesn’t matter what the compliance issue is if the school/AD doesn’t give a flying frick about following said rules. Their answer will be to do whatever is best for their on the field results.
It’s apparent that we’re playing by a different set of rules than our rivals if one of our best players is missing significant time because of something compliance related.

A compliance issue 4 games into a player's senior season?
That's a new one...and weird.

I have zero clue as to why he is sitting. If it's a compliance issue, yeah he has to sit. Is it really worth penalizing the entire team for one guy? Absolutely not.

Yep, used to be bama breaks the rules, Auburn goes on probation.

Yea I know how selective the NCAA can be sometimes with dishing out penalties With that being said the enforcement division doesn’t have the set of teeth they did 15+ years ago.
I just don’t think we can be good stewards of the ncaa rule book and still compete for championships consistently considering what is going on elsewhere in the conference. I’ll leave it at that.

From my understanding of asking around this isn't an NCAA compliance issue but an Auburn compliance issue for TD. I think I've said what the rumor is so take it for what it's worth. And no I don't know if its true or not.
I'll be the first to blame admin but not sure this is an admin or AD situation

Is it what you posted on the first page? That would have to be a pretty serious infraction to just be done like that *if* that is what it is. I don’t want to spin rumors that I don’t know what the issue is. Just if that is what it is, damn.

Compliance issue having to do with getting a car loaned to him by a booster. The decision is out of Harsin’s hands right now.

Other boards are saying the issue is Moultry received benefits as a recruit. It is very weird, though, that this is only coming out 5 years later.
Maybe Gus wasn't as clean as we thought?
