Anybody know what's going on with him? Rumors he may miss rest of the year and its not disciplinary or within his control.

Haven't listened to the presser he just did but apparently Harsin said something to the effect of:

"I don't know if T.D. will be here or not this week, and I'll leave it at that."

Another quote that just gives you the warm and fuzzies:

"We have guys that sit in meetings on the edge of their seats, they're taking notes, locked in. You have some guys that you have to remind all the time to get the notebook out and sit up and pay attention. Like, what do you expect on Saturday?"

I just assumed it was Covid related. Guess I was wrong

If it's not within his control, then we can rule out:

1) Drugs
2) Academics
3) Discipline issues

We can also rule out COVID because he wouldn't miss all season for that.

So what's left? An injury is the only explanation I have.

Health

Not saying that's TD's problem. I have no clue

If it isn't the Covid protocol, then its an attitude adjustment. Harsin isn't playing around. I'll say this, and its speculation. When you have a history of making self-inflicted errors - like all of the offsides penalties and losing outside containment, it usually means you aren't paying attention and you won't get much better as a player. Perhaps this is the issue. Who knows.

You can miss the rest of the season with Drugs...

I can remember AU's actual failed test protocol but I think one is like 6 months or something like that.

I'm not saying it is drugs but the rumors are out there

Why would Harsin say its basically week-to-week then if it were drugs? I think most schools have a drug testing and punishment protocol they follow that prescribes a formal punishment, leaving no room for Harsin's comments. IDK what AU has, just assuming that is the case.

I love it. Send a message and build culture around winning habits.

A sixth year senior should be locked in. If not? Give way to someone who is.

JGT said “technical” issue so an eligibility issue I guess? Sounds to me somebody snitched on him about something he may have received.

My money is on positive drug test… rules are very black and white on them.

Referencing Harsins quote.....

Saw a documentary on Marshall Faulk. When he was traded to the Rams, coach said the first meeting he shows up, sits in the front row with a notebook and a bunch of pencils. Said there was some talking and chatter in the room, Marshall looked around and said "Are you guys taking notes of this" and turned back around.

Coach said he could have kissed him, next meeting, everyone has notebooks and pencils...and they go on to win a Superbowl.

As far as TD goes, he definitely came into this season with an attitude adjustment, and a good one. Hope its not long term.

That’s what a “trusted source” told Hoke. No reason given.

Hoke also said that TD Moultry has been unavailable to talk to Auburn Live through requests, and that they would no longer be trying to reach out to him because he “has more important things on his mind.”
