We are so athletic but they have so much more game savvy than we do

is what it is... we look like a team with no upper classmen playing the No 1 team.

Pretty much. Hopefully we tighten up defensively as we go along, and of course settle down to minimize the turnovers, but that'll be an experience thing probably.

Guys trying too much 1 on 1 now. We were scoring when we moved the ball around. Turbo is a ball stopper at point.

If we ever get Sharif on the floor he is gonna be a terror at the 2-guard. But hes our best option at point if Sharif is gone. Turbo is just too erratic

I’m enjoying watching this game, despite currently not playing so great, more than I’ve enjoyed watching football for several years. It’s nice to see potential and have belief that ultimately the coach will help the team realize that potential

You can just see the potential for sure. More raw talent 1-12 than we've ever had I think

There's a lot to be pleased with here. These small flashes of brilliance will become the norm with experience and coaching.

Yep, Powell should be our starter at PG until we (hopefully) get Cooper back.

non-game related complaints- court is atrocious. Commentators' audio levels and court noise is way off. I can't hear crap, it's mumble mumble, squeak, squeak.

Everybody except Cambridge and Johnson look like different players from last season.

Game has been about what I expected, if not better than expected. It’s easy to see why they were rated #1. They’re a veteran team and what youth they have is elite.

Powell is struggling a little with their quicker PG, but he’s still our best option right now.

UA makes some decent basketball shoes but whatever they’re wearing ain’t it.

Turbo needs to learn that he has teammates.

we aren't getting annihilated so there's that. You can tell we are athletic and there is lots of room for improvement.

But definitely overmatched today.

Johnson isnt going to see the floor much if Sharif is ever eligible. Hes the only player I would say we have that is just not good. He takes terrible shots and turns the ball over. Not a good combo.

And who's the Franklin kid? I honestly don't remember us recruiting him.

He’s a smaller TJ Lang (referring to Jamal)
