as of today Powell has outplayed Sharife at PG.

Powell is a real student of the game. Almost like another coach on the court. Very scrappy, bring your lunch pail to practice kind of player.

That is Pearl's kind of player too.

It could mean Cooper is having to adjust to the size of the players around him, where Powell has a size advantage at the guard positions.

I had heard that Powell was a good distributor in HS, and Cooper may have used more of his quickness to score more and drive to the basket in HS.

It's going to come down to who can make the least mistakes as the PG as to who will play there the most.

What can you tell me about his motor? Also, would his speed and quickness be best described as "deceptive?"

Motor? Why don't you mention game faces as well.

11-7, Sweet Sixteen with 9(?) freshman and sophmores.

Yep. I hear his dad is a coal miner. Coaches say "he just plays the game the right way." Definitely the type of guy you want your daughter to date.

Have we talked about Bruce Pearl’s beard yet? Because he’s killing it

I didn’t like it at first, but it’s grown on me. My biggest concern is it taking some shine off his sweaty face during games. That always gave him an angelic glow.

I’m growing a beard for the first time in my life and mine looks as crooked as Bruce’s does in that pic. I call it my covid marker. When years have passed I can look back and say that’s when covid was going on just by the pics.

And we both have the Jewfro however I’m not Jewish
