Its certainly not Shivers. That 3rd and 2 run was pathetic.

He's definitely not the go to RB we need on short yardage, against a stacked D.

I like his attitude and his speed, but for overall running ability, Tank looks like the one that can do more consistent damage inside running or outside.

Still want to see how MAR runs.

Any idea why he didn't get a carry Saturday?

I didn't see anything out of any of our RBs that would lead me to be very optimistic about any of them.

The RBs are fine...it's the OL that needs work. Barry Sanders couldn't run with that line Saturday.

Does no one still like DJ Williams?

I liked him best last year. Obviously didn’t have a impressive performance against UK but I still think him or Tank is our best bet. I just don’t see DJ mentioned anymore

He think he looked bad bc of a bad play call on 3rd and 2? Goes both ways bud.

I expect a starting SEC running back to be able to pick up two yards.

I expect the starting rb at RBU to pick up more than one first down as a junior starter.

Our talent is shockingly bad right now and no one wants to admit it. Sad state of affairs when morons celebrate one first down.

Idk how you can be so consistently wrong all the time. It's week one. Shivers is not the bell cow. And he's not the "starter". This team doesn't have a starter yet. He's a role player and he has all the talent in the world for that role. It's not his fault he was asked to go up the middle on 3rd and short. Running back talent is there. Oline talent however might not be. You always pick a player to hate and are ignorant to anything that could prove you wrong. For example: the o-line struggling will subdue any rbs talents. You've proven this season after season.

No. They are finally agreeing with what I told them last year about him

In all honestly, there were no running lanes Saturday for anyone

"Shockingly bad" is Markeith Cooper, or Michael Burks, or Clifton Robinson as #1 TB...this is hardly "shockingly bad".

We've got good talent at runningback, just no experience outside of Worm. Worm is a baller with a heart the size of Haley Center but he's not going to cut it as an everydown back. Still would like to see MAR, but Tank is the guy. He's big enough and fast enough and I expect to see a huge week 1-to-week 2 improvement and PT for him. I could be wrong but that's what I think.

They were definitely better in pass pro than expected, but I really hoped to see more in run blocking. I do think they have a much higher ceiling than the group in 18-19. I think their floor is equal to the ceiling of the 18-19 group. Look forward to seeing them get better.

How about pointing to the specific time in the game you saw those qualities. There were only 6 runs by him, 3 of which went for 3 yards or less, so it should be easy for you Francis.

Actually still hoping there's no one guy.

Since as of late we've needed more than that one guy. And come Amen-Corner we're forced to plugin someone with not enough experience or a less than well number one. Which is insane come year after year. I'm still hoping for no foot off the gas and developing another guy or two (in the Chad experiment).

Plus in this age of transferring you might keep a key guy from leaving.

A "Tank is indeed ready" bump. In fact, hes our only hope of making something happen in the ground game IMO. Our OL is going to need all the help it can get
