It's very apparent his talent. It pops off the screen. He's gonna have to get a bunch of touches Saturday. I love Worm, but Tank needs to be the guy moving forward with Worm as the change up.

6 rushes for 15 yards? He’s going to be great, but nothing is apparent with the rushing game after week 1.

He missed some holes for being too eager, but Caddy will point that out on film and he will greatly improve. I see him having a big game on Saturday.

He did have one kickoff return that looked pretty solid.

Shivers had some runs early that really made his balance after first contact seem good.

I did not get to see a lot of the second half yet though

Shivers is fast and runs HARD, but we knew that. He will definitely help but shouldn't be the lead carrier.

Tank could be the guy and as a freshman he will get better every week.

Seeing himself on tape will help him.

Idk why you clowns are writing off Shivers at this point. He was, without a doubt, our best back on Saturday.

DJ, Tank, and Shivers were all pretty much given equal opportunities and Shivers was our best back.

All of that being said, Bo Nix was our leading rusher. So they all may be trash...

I just don’t like Shivers between the tackles. Otherwise I think he’s very valuable

Agreed with the others here. Tank had nice 5 & 6 yards runs but elsewise he didn’t do much. But our running game never really got going plus Kentucky’s defense was well rested with being mostly off the field. Bad combo

I agree....Shivers looked good Saturday. I wish he hadnt rolled his ankle so we could see more. I think the combo will end up being Worm and Tank.

Remember a couple of weeks ago when we were debating the talent depth at RB and how it might be the deepest position on the team? Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Its certainly not Shivers. That 3rd and 2 run was pathetic.

Why because he picked up one first down?

We want know who the man is until we get some consistency on the OL. Every play was up for grabs on run plays. Plus we ran very few plays in the game because we scored quick and UK controlled the line of scrimmage in the first half.

Y’all will look back at the end of the year and say Gus didn’t know who the running back was until game 4 but in reality no one will until the line fixes some of the issues. Then we can see guys get to the edge, make cuts in the holes, break tackles, and moves in the open field. Until they are able to do that then we have no clue and neither do the coaches. Sure they have camp to go off of but if our ends played as bad as they did the first half then I’m sure shivers on the edge looked the best from just pure speed. It’ll play out. Next year is the year. This year is just to much unknown. Keep Seth will be the biggest recruit target for this year going into next year. KJ will be gone. Maybe Sherwood and Monday stay. Doubt it but maybe they do. Bo will continue to grow. We need Mims could start at LT next season especially if he’s a January kid.

No Snowflake, because in very limited touches he showed explosiveness, toughness, and great balance...more than the other backs.

I continue to try to see things from your view, but my head just wont go that far up my arse. Sorry.

Im not ready to crown Tank. He made a few promising runs as did Shivers. The run blocking is shite right now so nobody has a real chance.

I was not and am not a proponent of Shivers being "The Guy". Im not sure Tank is ready for that either. We still need to see Richards and find out what the hell is going on with Joiner....

On the one first down he picked up like you said

It was an impressive run. But need more than one run to prove anything. Especially when the knock on you is you’re not a bell cow.
