Not not broken. Football has always been cyclical in the Deep South. A couple teams goes up a couple goes down. Texas and Oklahoma will experience the same.

Our leadership has made awful decisions. We have sucked more than anyone here’s lifetime.

That doesn’t mean we have to keep sucking.

The most important thing is making that sad sack of shite’s video no more than a history video.

These last 5-6 years only mean something if we continue to fail.

I’m not as interested in sports as I once was.

I will watch IF it is convenient for me.

I don’t build my plans around Auburn football.

I hope we win, but I’m not a season ticket holder anymore.

Not broken, but a combination of arse-sucking and NIL/transfer frickery has dampened my enthusiasm for AU football a bit.

I watch them all, but it's no longer an event around which to plan.

I'm cautiously optimistic that Golesh can course correct on one half of the equation. The semi-pro nature of the game is here to stay, unfortunately.

Fandom is at an all time low. Cant name hardly anyone on the team. Don't know a single commit we have for this year. Couldn't give you a name if my life depended on it and we currently have a top 10 class.

Still havent turned in the season tickets though. Too many decades to just walk away

Kinda numb to it all. Losing on Saturday used to ruin my entire weekend but it doesn't really affect me now. Most of that is because of non football related life events but sucking hasn't helped

i think we deserve the title - Formerly Fat Matt nailed it IMHO

i’m not broken, but if we had promoted DJ (as much as i like him as DC), i would have been

Golesh was an unexpected positive surprise, i will be more hyped for the season opener vs Baylor than i was at any time since the Pedo State game in 2022

The only upside to fans being beaten down and broken is when we start winning again, it will be a lot of fun. It's always fun, but when you have been yearning for it for a long time, it hits a little different and excitement levels shoot up. Anyone that was around in the 80's knows the feeling.

i think the broken aspect comes from being constantly cheated by the Birmingham review booth and the SEC officials. Gifting bama back to back penalties on 3rd and long in the 4th, Gifting Oklahoma a free TD even though the play was clearly against the rules, refusing to give TDs against UGA only to give the ball to them. The list goes on and fricking on.

How many games have we had stolen from us in the past few years with last year being the most egregious? Its so fricking blatant now that we all know its coming.

That's a double edged sword. Imagine had we gotten two more wins early in the year last year if bad calls hadn't been made and then Hugh survived another year.

Imagine going into this season thinking old Hugh is about to turn the corner.

I just take a couple four horseman shots before the games. Nothing can hurt me after that

yeah im not sayin the end result of Auburn firing Hugh wasnt desired, but ffs, a few more wins and were looking at possible playoffs last year, even with poor Qb play.

I just want a fair game. If we lose, so be it.

Ifs and buts, my friend.

Personally, I believe the whole team ethos under Hugh was so poor they just weren't capable of winning with any consistency. Time after time, the team would get in good enough position to compete and screw it up, with each screw up even worse than the one before.

(I'm not discounting the effect of the blown calls that happened, but they do happen to everyone and good teams find a way past it)

Our US soccer team has me feeling broken. The goalie kicking the ground to give them the third goal is a work of art that reminds me of the JJ backwards pass.
