We were literally just listed as one of the 15 programs capable of winning the CFP. So maybe not.
That's just some article right? We're nowhere near the preseason Top25.

don’t disagree with this at all. Such is the life of an Auburn fan in the 21st century thus far
Don't we know it...

There’s smoke that Jarrett Stidham will be cut to get rid of the contract. It’s between him and Zach Wilson, and Denver traded for Zach Wilson. Tea leaves point to JS being cut.

I still don't know how any Auburn fan can hold it against Bo that he transferred from here. What a shitshow we were back then. Hopefully, times have changed.

Watched the full highlights on YouTube and he certainly looks sharp.
It is of course bitter sweet to see. Stidham is also with the Broncos.

Oregon put together a better two year stretch with Bo than we have had since... when?
Gus sucked with Bo too. Auburn has been a mediocre football program since December 2017.
Bo had to scrabble for his life, but even then he did an amazing escape act many times. I'm sure that experience has some use, but having an O-line is better.

Zach Wilson
From what little I've seen Wilson didn't look too good.

I wish Bo Nix well and do not hold any grudge against him for leaving Auburn, if anything it was a smart move that took some courage for him to do; and, anyone paying attention would have realized this was another sign pointing to the ineptitude of our then head coach.
However, Bo is still making the kind of mistakes he made at Auburn that held him back from being a great college QB. The scramble where he ended up throwing the ball when he was past the Denver line of scrimmage was vintage Bo, it looked like a panicky bail out that he tried to turn into a positive play and it ended up being a negative play. Maybe he can develop into an NFL QB,……I have my doubts.

Denver fans: please tell me Garret Bolles has already been cut

I saw DJ Williams run the ball a few times for Tampa Bay this past weekend.

I had such high hopes for him after his big run as a true freshman against LSU 2019 defense.

I was a big Schraeder fan (the Mizzou kid). He looked good with the Niners the other day.

Bo looked like an NFL quarterback and appears to have instincts that most don't have. Yes, it's the preseason. But he makes throws/plays that Stidham and Wilson can't. He doesn't look Mahomes good. But he looks very capable, and Denver is lucky to have him.

my gripe with him was his inaccurancy that he carried through HS and into CFB. Didn't think he was capable of developing into an accurate passer after a decade of bad habits. Maybe I was wrong. He's definitely outperforming the other two.

2019 was a great season. If you are Kentucky.

Impressive.
He did the right thing for his career.
Good luck to him.
I did not see an NFL starting role for him, but people learn and grow and get better at all sorts of things.
Bully for Bo!

I don’t think it’s maybe anymore..
He definitely had to make a transition from just out-athleting guys in HS to being a college QB. But he did that and much much more. He is razor sharp on the quick throws now and has really good pocket awareness

I definitely remember calling some other Auburn fans dumb for saying he was a bad QB

Not sure what time period in CFB you are referring to, but in 2023 at Oregon, Bo set the all-time single season completion percentage record at 77.4%. He's #1 in this measure of accuracy.

I believe this is true but I also believe this helps Bo as well as other mid NFL guys hang around.
