That's why we haven't gotten past the first weekend in 6 years. Jared Harper was our last guard (besides Cooper) who could get to the rim consistently. It's like having a scrambling QB it just puts so stress on the defense. It's not so much our guys don't try, they just aren't good at it.

Only thing I can figure is we're really fatigued
Damnit, no. It's been a weak spot all year.

UT scoring 30+% from the free throw line seems a bit odd to me. Bruce said we fouled em but I don’t know, that’s alot of freebies.

Florida and Alabama are the only two teams capable of beating us even if we play our A game. I guess Duke too assuming Flagg is healthy.
The list is longer than that.
St Johns, Michigan St, Michigan, Houston, Iowa State to throw a few others out there.
This tournament is wide open.

Those teams could all beat us for sure and you could add several more if we don't play well. I think our A game beats any of those teams though.

We could beat anybody, but we could lose to several teams.
As much of a fan of Cardwell as I am, he shoots 33% from the free throw line.
Pettiford and Denver are both 2s.
CBM is great, but subject to anger.
Chaney has disappeared lately.
Kelly is a great shooter.
Broome is a great big, but we don’t really have scoring options down low other than him.
Moore is a great man, but he has limits off the bench.

I agree. UF and Duke are the only ones who I think could still beat us if we played what we would all call an A game, both offensively and defensively. Hesitant to put Duke on there if it's on a neutral court and things are called evenly.

Unfortunately we haven’t been playing well the last 2 weeks. People been making excuses for our play but I knew we’d lose to UT. I don’t see us going far in tournament.

You do you boss. I’m excited about the tourney and expect us to make a run

Time to get back to Auburn. Get some rest for a day or so. Get some lifting s d rehab in. Work on 3 game plans and get back to playing free on offense. Broome has been awesome but think we have been feeding him a little too much. Bruce will add a couple wrinkles each week for the tournament to steal 6-8 points. Time to get back to playing elite defense. That goes for Broome as well. He’s been playing soft on the inside I think to try to stay out of foul trouble. I don’t think we can make a deep deep run without him blocking shots and bodying up some folks.
I’m excited and ready to see a refreshed Tiger team. WDE

All comes down to our guard play. We need them to get right.
We have a national title level team if our guards are on. If they aren’t, we’re primed for another early exit.

What do you consider an early exit?

I will be shocked and pissed at everyone top down from HC to water boys/girls if we get kicked out in R64/32. Our floor is Elite 8 but I will understand if we get bounced by a hot team in the S16. Anything before that will be a travesty.

I can accept a sweet 16 exit if the team we play against just beats us straight up.
Still think we are an elite 8 team and if we get hot a finals team.
However I guess in my old age I might be getting soft nothing in this tournament will make think this season wasn’t a huge success.

8/9 seed bouncing us in the round of 32.

We’ve been ranked #1 for weeks with people saying we were the best team in college basketball. Anything less than final 4 is a disappointment given the way this team has played all season. But it feels like the wheels are coming off and for that reason I don’t think we get to 16. Hope Im wrong

Alabama is the #1 offense and Tennessee is the number one defense. I don’t know why losing to those type of teams who we will not meet in the first two rounds should be used as a barometer for tournament success.

I love limping into the tournament
