I know i'm probably going to get crucified for this but at one time he was considered a big time QB transfer when he left TCU to go to Cal.

Why not move him to QB and give him a shot.

Sorry if this has been discussed!

We did the Robbie Ashford thing last year.

Right now we are doing the Peyton Thorne thing and it's not working.

Maybe Sam is more Marshall than Ashford.

He's been working at WR since he's been here. It would take a couple of weeks before he would be ready.. and at that point, is there even a reason to do it?

I listened to the Dukes interview on Locked On Auburn yesterday, too.

I am sure Hugh is making sure to play the worst QB on the team while Jackson is a world beater QB that is in the WR Room.

We hired a guy with an offense. We don't have a QB who can run it, but he'll go with the least problematic option that can. That's Thorne and that means we are what we are. Clearly Freeze feels comfortable regardless of another losing season, because unless something very unexpected happens, that's where we're headed. I don't think trying to run pure option with a guy like Jackson will change much.

I mean, we saw him last year and he threw more picks and no TDs compared to Thorne who didn't Crack 100 yards passing in that game.

If we'd run at least 70-80% of the time, wildcat or whatever we'd be 4-0 right now.

Because he has been training as a WR this whole time. Would be impossible for him to learn the offense mid-season.

What IS Hugh's plan anyway? Is he expecting Walker to be ready next year? Because it's my understanding that the guy we are recruiting this year is another project and will need a few years to be ready.

Example #2036 of Auburn fans having no idea whatsoever of what a good QB looks like.

We'd just have a dozen + fumbles instead of picks.

Kids gotta hold on to the gd ball, eliminating the fumbles means we're 3-1 now, maybe 4-0.

They played Akron last week so that’s not much of a measurement. When he played LSU he was just as horrible as ever. He is an atrocious passer.
