He wont get a commitable offer from bama. First, he is too far down their board.

He may have been down their board in June but he’s pretty much at the top now and he has an offer he could commit to at any point. That’s not really my opinion either. The Bama 247 guys have said as much and he has 2 CB’s to Bama this month. Clemson also thinks Bama is out front right now.

Auburn is doing a good job staying in this recruitment but this isn’t trending the way we hoped even a month ago

Woody, Woodyard, and Clemons are all guys that Auburn is out front for that could commit anytime or just sign Dec 15.

Honestly, I think most of this class gets figured out between Dec 3 and Dec 15th. Almost all of our top targets are essentially waiting to announce on NSD. I imagine coaches know what most of them will do beforehand but we probably won’t know until announcements start flying in around that time

Can we use some of our west coast clout to get in on this 5 star freshman OT from Oregon that just entered the portal?

I’d hope so

4* OT Kingsley Suamataia

5* on Rivals and 247. I’ll post what I see on the paysites but he’s the kind of OT we need to be all in on. Sometimes these guys have a destination in mind before they ever announce they’re leaving, though. The portal isn’t a protected free agency by any means

Here is Kingsley final choices before he decided on Oregon:

The 6-foot-6, 317-pound offensive tackle from Orem High was in his first season with the Ducks.

Before committing to the Ducks, Suamataia had a final seven of schools the featured BYU, Utah, and Utah State. The rest of the last seven in his recruitment was Arkansas, USC, and Virginia.

BYU was the first school to offer Suamataia back in 2017.

Eric Mack
Roszell Gayden
Ed Christian
Brandon Mosley
Christian Westerman
Reese Dismukes
Greg Robinson
Thomas O’Reilly
Avery Young
Jordan Diamond
Patrick Miller
Shane Callahan
Alex Kozan
Will Adams
Robert Leff

This is kinda what I like to see on OL recruiting. There’s definitely big misses but pretty consistent talent coming in even if we’ve got talent heading out. Plus he hit on a couple of unheralded guys

He really hit his stride in recruiting when he got to LSU.

The Robert Leff melts were legendary. I can't remember who it was that had such a hard-on for that dude.... Brannigan maybe?

Jeff Grimes was probably at the top of my OC wishlist when Harsin was hired. Baylor's offense is doing very well this season.

He is from Utah, so our board's Utah resident, poster Alpinetiger, needs to put his bagman hat on and get to work.

In all seriousness, he's already got 2 CBs in for BYU since he entered the portal, so looks like he's wanting to get back home.

I'll do my best. I'm suprised I haven't read about this guy in the SLC Tribune. I really wish AU would recruit more Pacific Islander kids. They are great teammates who work extremely hard and are genetically talented jumbo athletes. Culturally its not a big adjustment moving to the South either, IMO.

If I were to speculate my guess is that he's homesick and is going to BYU. Orem is about 10 minutes from the BYU campus. And Tsongan/Samoan families are tight-knit.

Should all look like familiar info for folks that frequent this thread (given the info comes from KN)

The emergence of Rhym is huge. There’s potential for a great class this season. I hope it works out. I really like a lot of these guys and I’d hate to face them

A bunch of IMG kids will be at the game. They're playing @Auburn high school tonight. I imagine KN and everyone else will her a bunch of names starting today and tomorrow since tomorrow is a later game. Good chance a bunch more are added. And as always, this is just a list of recruits that have told the paysites they're going to be there. Most don't announce when they're visiting unofficially
