Seems like we keep regurgitating the same negative (albeit realistic) threads/takes over and over and over. I wanna switch it up and ask the question - what has excited you most so far this season and/or what are you most excited about for the remainder of the season? And don’t say “when it ends”.

I’ll start by saying Jarquez. He runs TOUGH and has a hardworking humble attitude - I don’t think I’ve seen him beat his chest or anything like that after a big play, just toss the ball to the ref and hustle back to the huddle. He came up clutch against LSU and that hurdle run against Penn St was super impressive. I’m really looking forward to watching this guy for the next couple of years, especially when we have a better OL for him to run behind. Also that cowboy boots photo is just funny.

everything about Harsin's demeanor

It's a breath of fresh air

But do the players agree? Will recruits agree?

Did you notice in Harsin's presser, when the reporter asked him about how he felt about Pearl taking his shirt off, and also asked Harsin if he would ever take his shirt off?

Harsin totally ignored answering the reporter's 2nd question.

Harsin is all serious and he doesn't even want to respond to cute or questions non-football related about him.

1. RB depth for sure
2. More sophisticated offensive philosophy (just need the right players to execute)
3. Harsin's demeanor and, at least, outward approach to the Auburn football program and culture

I'm positive Harsin will get the program winning and competing on a regular basis.

It's going to take time to make it happen, but you can see the framework and foundational values he is bringing.

A lot to be excited about! Harsin is the right guy for the job. I am not one of those worrying about his recruiting anymore. I recognize what he’s doing, which is putting out the energy he wants to get back. We are going to get kids who have upside, who want to play in the disciplined environment and develop. That may not attract the four and five stars right off the bat, but it will attract them down the line. The right ones, too.

Also excited about Jarquez Hunter!

That I cant watch a game and know that even if we lose I won't have to witness my team run a whirly bird.

Yeah, I think we'll likely get less of the big 4 and 5 star players initially. However, I think Harsin is a much better judge of ability and talent so it may be a net gain. He has the ability to take 3* players and coach them up imo.

So what do you think does work today?

And, before you answer, understand that "whatever Bama & UGa are doing" is not an adequate response.

Jarquez was a three star for what it’s worth. There’s kids out there who don’t get the hype for one reason or another, but they still have the talent and ability to become very good players. Obviously it’s still early on in his career but I think we can all agree he’s got a very promising future. I’m just trying to make a point about “non elite” recruits being found and coached up is still a thing.

Absolutely there are diamonds in the rough. But if the goal is to compete with Georgia and Bama we need top 10 classes every single year

Iowa says hello.

They definitely do it their way, but end up putting it all together to have some really good teams every 4 years or so.

1) Beating LSU and breaking the Jinx
2) That I cannot predict the offensive plays
3) Harson himself and how the team will take on his personality (He is the Anti-Gus), no excuses, no players of the game during a loss, does not speak in true coach speak, his confidence. His willingness to bench Bo, but then bring him back. Reminds me of Dye's first year, lose a few now to pay dividends down the road
4) J Hunter

Outside of Hunter and Coach Harsin's attitude. I am mostly satisfied with the coaching. When I look at the games I don't feel like we are out coached. I think for the most part we go into games with good game plans but we don't have the athletes execute them.
