I'll raise you a Jarquez Hunter. This quote highlights the mentality that Harsin is trying to bring in and the mentality that Gus taught to the players he coached.

“Whenever we were running stadiums, he would finish his stadiums — we had 17 of them one time or whatever — and he kept going,” center Nick Brahms said. “He got like 23 or 24 in the summertime. We're all done, kind of sitting down and looking him like, 'Dang. Jarquez hasn't finished yet? What's he doing?' We thought he was lagging behind. But, in reality, he was getting extra reps, and Coach made sure to tell us that after stadium reps that Jarquez was out there getting extra reps."

Here is a bit of Posibarner for all of you - if we win out and UK beats Georgia Saturday then we will play UK in the SEC championship game.

Boom! You’re welcome.

Three weeks ago, I thought I might die before I ever saw another win at Death Valley. I have been waiting for that win for decades and it still feels pretty damn nice!

Remains to be seen I suppose, but it sure worked for Kentucky. They were patient with Stoops and it is paying off in spades. I expect them to give Georgia a better run than people expect. He recruited from the LOS out, redshirted guys and built his strength and conditioning, and his program is viable, stable, and competitive as a result.

Obviously the transfer portal portal is a new phenomenon, but I still think you have to put the big rocks in first then fill in from there. Harsin has that planned out. I just hope our meddling bigwigs let him do his thing and they don’t frick it up.

That's the biggest posibarner statement one can make.

I said preseason I expected us to go 6-6, but hoped it would be like Dye's 5-6 season in '81, or Tubs' 5-6 in '99 - a lot of close losses, an embarrassingly close win to a bad team, a couple of embarrassing blowouts to vastly more talented teams, but an upward trend towards the end of the year.

Seems to me that the season is playing out the way I expected/hoped it would. If we split the winnable games remaining and give a good showing of ourselves in the IB I will consider the season a successful start of the Harsin Era.

I like Harsin and the way he appears to operate. Doesn't seem to be much BS in him and I think will do things the way he wants to do them. If he fails its not going to be because he compromised. He's already shown that he has no problems making a decision based on what he thinks is right and doesn't care about the reaction.

He recruited and signed Jarquez Hunter and he is pushing Tank to be our best back. And Tank is our best back since Kerryon or Tre. Its not an accident that Hunter is one of our hardest workers as discipline is probably the #1 intangible Harsin's looking for. If this is a sign of things to come, we're in good shape.

I think if we give him time he will do well here.
