He was playing like a 5 star at the end of his TRUE FRESHMAN season.
If you're treating him like the same kid he was at the beginning of the season that's pretty ignorant.

22 of those catches, 300+ of those yards, and 6 of those tds came in the last 3 games. 2 of them being TAMU and Bama. If Jackson is decent he goes for 1K next year. Unless Eric Singleton is just that good.

Also most 5 star receivers barley make a strong a impact as a freshman. Aj Green, Julio, Jeremiah Smith, and like 5-6 others are unicorns. The offense and his experience level hurt him bad, and he STILL had right at 600 yds and 8TDs as a true freshman. Come on

Put all that math together and you're looking at 3k from Jackson. That probably means alot of happy auburn fans at the end of the season.

Also, if not benched last season Thorne throws for over 3k passing. So context means more than raw stats.
I will say if all the WRs play that the fans want to play and get targets it will be tough for anyone to crack 1k receiving but maybe you have a bunch between 500-800 yards. Depends on the efficiency of each WR combined with the QB effectiveness.
Still think as always can you get off the field on defense in 3rd and long and can you stay on the field on offense in 3rd and short will determine our season.
