Beat writers also seem a lot more excited about Womack than this board is.

Womack is great. It gets lost in the comparison game, and I don’t say that to suggest it’s unfair.

We’re close to 60 new guys coming in, including the freshman. The roster is dramatically different from last season and fatigue is setting in heavy for me. This is nearly impossible to follow. I’m optimistic about our success next fall, but I feel for the majority of the fanbase who will mostly not know who’s on the field at the start of each season.

Too late to get one. And we could have got one. We didn't want to pay the cost to get it, but the money was there.

Wells will be a buck too I believe. Not assuming he will be a starter but just looking at overall depth at the position. Wilkes at End and people are very high on him. Will probably be able to get some reps inside too, similar to D Smith if he keeps growing.

Possibly but I think they have a better shot at being a starter than the guys you listed

I think everyone is and it's why AG is willing to keep adding. Also thinking next year we'll bid higher for few positions.

We have more unproven holes than the Buck position. Almost all the OL is unproven. The highest is Ramil and I didn’t like him in high school nor coming in the portal. But I have faith we have added enough bodies if he fails we can move to some one else.

I talked about that too Corch. I just don't want to bitch about everything every day so I left that out for now lol, but I agree with you.

I get being nervous about our team with a new coach, but at some point we have to also trust the evaluations of the coaches. I can assure you Durkin gets his say on our defensive personnel and I trust his evaluations. Hell, everyone thought Atkins was going to be a backup when we signed him before camp started.

This right here

Edit: There are several we brought in that could potentially fit this profile
