We are usually at our best when we have a bunch of players on the team with the same last name.

From what I’ve heard, Cam Coleman is not a good locker room guy. He likes to divide rather than unify. Wish him well if he ends up in Texas. But Texas and A&M have coaches that won’t put up with it. Freeze not only put up with it. He did nothing to stop it. Kid made some amazing catches. He also dropped a lot of passes. He has the skill set to play in the NFL one day. But is he going to develop that Pavia attitude ??

Fernando Mendoza was a composite 2* QB just reminding folks, it's more about how players are developed and how cohesive they are within the coach's culture.

Has probably 95th percentile speed & probably 99.8th percentile catch radius. Those two things alone will get him into the NFL. A lot of the rest of his game is lacking but if he can get the right coaching the sky is the limit.

I've heard the absolute opposite until he said no. Now all I hear is that he was a cancer.

I don't believe any of that. I did watch him take plays off, occasionally. I saw him drop a few he shouldn't have. I think that stuff could be coached out of him. He'll be playing for a spot in the League, next year, so there will be a natural impetus to work harder.
I wanted him to finish his career in Auburn, win the Biletnokoff, and ride off into the sunset. I still hope Golesh coaches a Belitnikoff recipient, and Cam has to watch it happen. Weagle! Weagle!

Same. I've heard that if there was one guy in that WR that loved Auburn, it was Cam. Obviously that was before he transferred.
And maybe he did love Auburn when the previous staff catered to his every need and told him how awesome he was every 5 minutes. Maybe the new staff told him he needs to work on his hands and he got offended...who knows?
Sucks that he is leaving, for sure. But we will field a team next year regardless of Cam, Perry, or whoever else.

Cam didn't seem to be a behavior problem. He seemed to be entitled and soft.

Agreed. He isnt the first, and certainly wont be the last highly ranked WR to be a diva.

So what train wreck was of greater magnitude than the failure to recruit
offensive line talent?
For sure not anything of defense and not QB with Nix and Stidham.
