Wasn’t that the player that flipped to Miss St in the 9th hour, that was basically a lock to us?
**Edit: he’s not on States roster and there’s not any ‘25 stats or any news on him. Very odd.
Who’s the WR he’s talking about? Noah Rogers yall think?

Womack was the 5* safety that flipped to them after we fired Freeze.

We needs some beef!!!!
2 deep OL is ... well there is not 1. We need 5 to 7 and the DL / edge is not far behind.

If tweet fails to load, click here. I am counting roughly 18 P4 schools grabbing our players here
I cannot remember if Pitt is P4 so maybe 17

Fwiw Hokanson had another dive into our NIL
Some points
-B Brown cost between 3.5 million to 4 million.
-Our NIL chest is 25 mil to 30 mil.
- You can chew through 10 million with 5 or 6 guys
-We expect our total scholarship football players count to land in the low 90s.
-The last bit of scholarship players we get will make very little, if anything.
-Hugh and Will Redmond considered carrying lower than 85 players through the season - like 75 scholarship players to pay more per player.
- Auburn cut its spending in freshman class by approximately 2 million as they decided paying 600k to players that cannot contribute yet isnt wise. They call that "dead money."
-There is an internal belief and industry wide belief that the whole "finish in top 25 thing" doesnt matter anymore
- Incentives exist but most offers are still largely cash.

Crazy to think that so if the QBs in last year's room could start somewhere next year. We'll also get to see how our old P4 talent matches up to our USF talent 27th since of these DB/WR battles. It'll be the battle of who's got the bigger chip on their shoulders.

The amount of talent that Auburn lost to the Transfer Portal is truly INSANE! ??
QB Jackson Arnold (UNLV)
QB Ashton Daniels (FSU)
QB Deuce Knight (Ole Miss)
RB Damari Alston (SMU/UCF)
RB Durrell Robinson
WR Cam Coleman (Texas)
WR Eric Singleton Jr. (Florida)
WR Horatio Fields (Missouri)
WR Perry Thompson (Minnesota)
WR Malcolm Simmons (Ark/UK/A&M)
OL DeAndre Carter (Iowa State)
OT Xavier Chaplin (FSU)
DL Amaris Williams (Georgia)
DL Malik Blocton (LSU)
LB Robert Woodyard Jr. (Missouri)
LB Jamonta Waller (Arkansas)
CB Kayin Lee (Tennessee)
CB Jay Crawford (Ole Miss)
CB Donovan Starr (Clemson)
CB Raion Strader (Pitt)
S Kensley Louidor-Faustin (Missouri)
Some hurt, some we’re glad they left, some were overpaid, some a cancer, and some easily replaced with like wise talent.

To their new teams? I dont get it. Lot of those are impactful. We are getting a backup edge from Missouri. We are moneyballing.

Basically losing our OL hurt. Our d and those players were mid. I like where we are on incoming D, QB and WRs. I dont know how those two tackles will work out. They are replacing two top rated guys. I dont think Ellis is going to cut it at center.

WR Horatio Fields (Missouri): a guy
WR Perry Thompson (Minnesota): ok
WR Malcolm Simmons (Ark/UK/A&M): ok

My fault, was responding to the top of the list without clicking and seeing the bottom. For the record I think we lost 7-8 guys that hurt but we can push forward and find decent replacements. If those guys are coached up we could have a better outcome

quote:Ahh the real numbers are slowly starting to come out. First it was we have 30 million to spend and money to blow after letting some guys go.. now that number is $25. Wonder how long before it shrinks again lol. It we don't have the money I wish they would at least be honest, at least then expectations can fit the budget.

JGT was adament weeks ago that he never said it was 30. He claims some article put us at 30.

We have to be way below budget, the dollar tree of the SEC it seems or something like that
