That’s my mind set, so far which of these guys we’ve gotten out of the portal been a game changer? KLS? The idea that we’re losing two year guys and gonna replace them w someone in a week or so and they’re gonna pick up everything Offense/Defense in a few months is wild to me. I’d have retained more or tried to if it were me. Portal to fill the gaps but it looks like golesh is fine with a complete reset.

Have we branded it?
Auburn Junior College at Wherever?
Do we put it just in Alabama or do we add Georgia and Florida locations? Moscow?
Do we teach the base offense an defense as part of the process?

I'll see what Moscow Harsin does once the portal opens up but if he dumps a whole lot of GOOD players just to get 15 or so from USF yall might as well ban me. I am not a fan from the start. His offense is a gimmick. He is 1-7 against teams with a winning record, he talks too damn much, he acts like he is the smartest person in the room. He is not. Smart coaches burn midnight oil recruiting.

Fine. I don't think there is enough body of work on Golash AT AUBURN to start throwing out labels. OK I'm out.

Hell we are interested in Carde Smith and Corch has always shitted on that tackle.
This is true. I know his first cousin and he says that Carde is weak as water. Maybe being in a strength program for a year has helped some but from what I have learned about natural strength you either have it or you don’t. Some folks can never bench 305 after years and years of training. Some folks that have never lifted can bench 305 after 6 months training.
Carde has ok feet. I haven’t kept up with him but has he even played any?

Makers I say they just drop all pretenses and admit its all about the money the schools and players can make, not whether the players get hurt, or get an education, nor any of the fans. Once that is acknowledged....
9 SEC games, forget that, have nothing but SEC games the entire season, let them beat the shat out of each other, no cupcakes.
We no longer have an SEC Championship......we have an SEC playoff and then the championship game.
And forget the home game nonsense, who wants to go to Auburn, Tuscaloosa, or Baton Rouge. Nah, all the SEC games will be played at Cowboys stadium, Georgia Dome and Hard Rock in South Florida. How to fit the schedule in? Come on we dont care about actual school, schedule them throughout the week and weekends.
Then for the National playoff, come on do it like the big money grabbers at FIFA.....make it a 48 team playoff, yeah thats the ticket.
Course for the final championship you might have to make it 7 on 7. With the 105 scholly rule limit, you may only have a handful of players left by the final game.
This thing can be big, big Im telling you. Think of the NIL money we can bring in....
Naming rights for our Aurora Eagle will now be Pablo Escobars Eagle, We can get rid of the numbers on the jerseys and emblazon Sinaloa Cartel Tigers. The cheerleaders are the Moonlight Bunny Ranch girls.
In the infamous words of Lenny (RIP) from law and order "hey dont give the whores a tough time, unlike wives, at least they tell you the price up front".

Yea, I’m already getting some bad vibes. I hope for the best, but we are about to have another mass exodus of players none of us want to see go

Sources indicate Xavier Chaplin was a player Auburn wanted to retain and was willing to pay competitively to keep. For whatever reason, Chaplin has been difficult to reach and hasn’t been communicating with the new staff.
Maybe he just can't hear his phone ringing.

Maker - $30 million seems like a lot, but not so much when you factor depth players. I agree that developing depth no longer works, but you still have to have it. Add in the fact that certain positions command a lot more than average - I am glad I am not the GM.
It requires teams to make tough calls ,particularly on players who place high values on themselves

I googled this and Buddy, stop trusting AI. It claims he's 1-7 with 1 win this season over UF, who uh finished the year 4-8 which last I checked isn't a winning record.
Just this season off the top of my head they beat North Texas and Boise St, who both finished with winning records (11-2 and 9-5 respectively). I try to not engage with your trolling arse but please at least get better material for your melts.

You also have to remember they can do NIL deals to supplement

1-8 was before this current season
You can say 3 wins-11 losses. That boy is a real winner
Now you seem to melt about me more than our mediocre winner.
AI is fired
