Crawford literally didn't start playing well until like 2 weeks ago against Texas, Ashton threw 3 picks last game for a 3-5 team, Chaplin is God awful still, Amaris was a head case but I agree, Fields is comparable to the two receivers we have, Blocton has an amazing 1.5 sacks this year (less than Jared), lew and Lee are desperately missed. However half this board swore Lee sucked last year remember? Shall I go on? We sucked the last two weeks, but it doesn't shock me. How about we go 8-5 (very possible) and hit the portal like a ton of bricks and stop acting like Those are some major losses huh? Whatdya say

Dude, we aren’t going 8-5 no matter how badly you wish it. That just isn’t happening.

How many Auburn QB’s recently departed and subsequently played at other programs over the past several years? From memory:

Bo Nix
Malik Willis
Ashton Daniels
Hank Brown
Jackson Arnold
Zach Calzada
Robby Ashford
TJ Finley
Walker White
Deuce Knight (starter in waiting)

You can minimize those losses while watching our offense fail to run and pass

while our defense fails to stop the run and pass
en route to getting bludgeoned in multiple games in a row

all you want to, sugar!

We dont have many SEC talent on this team.
We have even less Sunday talent.
But we can turn over the narrative like flapjacks.

What specifically about the players I mentioned was wrong? You really want Ashton Daniels and Xavier Chaplin on this team? Has Daniels beaten Georgia? Btw I agreed about several of the players of you noticed. You really don't think we can beat Arkansas at home? What about them looks good? Name a good performance they've had this year. What about Mississippi St with their 3rd QB. They looking like they're gonna kill us to you? If we lose this Saturday I promise I'll get on the hate train with you

Your overall attack on me was wrong. We dont have players. It's that simple.

Is Ashton more dynamic than Brown? No but gets the ball out way quicker and he would have been way cheaper. Cheap enough to buy some real OL that Kentucky could afford. He isnt trash. I watched him feed Coleman and Eric Singleton to both getting ten catches in a single game while Freeze could never get either the ball. Ashton was a senior citizen discount and perfect for kicking off an era with low expectations. Brown was wasteful. He should be a TE and we pay him millions to be a QB

Of course we should be able to beat Arkansas at home. I never said otherwise.

You and that weirdo, Rosco are feeding off each other. I dont hate Golesh. I doubt he makes it work but I am not the person calling to fire him.

You doubted we'd go 8-5. To do that we have to beat Arkansas at home, Miss St without their superstar QB, Samford then win a bowl game. After beating Georgia I see no reason why that's not likely. Don't know who Roscoe is lol Plus I'm attacking your opinion, not you. Ashton has 11ints and is completing 59% of his passes btw.

Caddillacattack lives and breathes OL in his words.

If he doesn't like Golesh then we all have a problem

I’ve always wondered if he’s the OG 24 from the Amazing duo backs. How cool would it be to have former players here offering knowledge

Don’t worry, I like Golesh just fine for now. But several areas are in significant need of second-season improvements.

In no particular order, I’d like to see

- an investment and emphasis on improving AU roster management and player identification/sourcing

- an improved OL, … better disciplined, and capable of delivering on a Fourth and One inside the red zone.

- a QB that remembers how to look-off a secondary…. I miss that.

Season NC Conference
2025 Indiana Big Ten
2024 Ohio State Big Ten
2023 Michigan Big Ten
2022 Georgia SEC
2021 Georgia SEC
2020 Alabama SEC

HMMM...yeah they have won the past 3 years...with 3 different teams SEC 2 different teams...even if the Big10 are not that great UCLA has done a good job winning this season and if you asked most AU fans either take the current record with Golesh or take UCLA team and suffer a couple of losses but no blow out losses...which do you think they would take?

You are right. He also cant go through progressions, tosses to the first option when some are very open, and holds the ball hoping someone will get wide open on a deep ball and when they do he overthrows the ball by five yards.

When he runs? Compare that to Trinidad. He runs like his feet are in clay.

Our OL has great difficulty run blocking, but in pass blocking he has plenty of time on many plays and just holds the ball waiting for a wide open window, and deep passes, forgetabout it.

Thats how you end up with defenses crowding the line and everything fails.

Georgia,
Florida
Miss State
LSU
Alabama on consecutive weeks…

They are gifted an easy path…..

Nothing

Earned.

My thoughts as well. Of course it's harder at Auburn. Auburn's October Schedule was against 4 teams in the current top 15. Give those teams Auburn's schedule.

UCLA plays 2 ranked games all year, #23 Oregon and #25 USC.

Oklahoma State was beaten by Tulsa by 2 TDs. Like UCLA, their big win is an overrated Oregon, and lost their only other ranked game so far.

Indiana's First year, they played one team in the top 25, Ohio State, and lost by 23. Their 2nd year was unbelievable and a damn good football team

If we want to compare SOS so far, according to ESPN FPI:
Auburn #2 --- 4-4
Oklahoma State #60 --- 5-3
UCLA #76 --- 8-0
