I'm not sure what people are struggling to understand about the QB issue (not directing this at you Jville).

We aren't going to get into a massive bidding war over a 1 year transfer QB. If we can get one at a good value, we will. Otherwise, we are going to ride with who we have and save the NIL money for much more needed positions.

Thorne showed some really good things down the stretch. Obviously has room for a lot of improvement, but I'm curious what he can do with receivers that actually can get open and run the right routes. Early in the season is was very obvious him and the receivers didn't know or understand our offense. I'd love to bring in more competition, but I also am fine if we end up spending that NIL money elsewhere.

That’s what I was implying about Leonard visiting Notre Dame, because they’re not just offering him. So if he commits to them, that removes them as an option for another QB Auburn wants.

What does that mean?

Allegedly Hugh wasn’t a fan of how his camp handled the NIL stuff.

Supposedly Leonard like Cam Ward wanted ever-more until they over priced themselves.

Hugh can only have one in home per recruit, right?

I read it as Freeze was KJ’s first in-home HC visit, as in I’m guessing Norvell, Kirby, etc aren’t far behind

Thorne is improved. He’s focused. He’s having fun. Might just be a Heisman dark horse next year.

I think FSU had theirs yesterday. Maybe it wasn't an in home though.

I really need some new commitments. Our fan base is the worst about rumor frenzy that results in nothing. I get excited knowing it's going to be a let down. Painful.

The class as it currently stands is fine. Solid Gus level class. Awesome at WR and Jack, very weak on the lines of scrimmage, so thank goodness we have the portal. Of course they will add a few to get over 21 or 22. If they pull Echols and Favour, and then get that Amaris kid on the D line, then the class is spectacular. But right now none of those guys are sure things. Add KJ to that and wow. I guess my point was the missing pieces of this class are going to require some elite closing. The fact that I don't hear about many backup plans means the coaching staff is more confident than we are, or that they plan to fall back to the portal to fill in gaps.

I think Norvell had his in home yesterday. There is a link to a story about Norvells in home and a picture of KJ and his dad with 3 FSU coaches out to eat at a restaurant last night on KJ's Twitter. The link is behind a paywall so I didn't see if it was Norvell or the 3 coaches that had the in-home (idk if and in-home from staff even counts against what Norvell can do later)

“DB coach Pat Surtain, area recruiter Alex Atkins and DC Adam Fuller” aka full court press. Maybe this one will go down to the wire.

Yeah, they're definitely feeling the heat on this one.

I was thinking of Jack's as linebackers. The Jack recruits are elite. The rest of the DL is better than weak. Just feels incomplete. We know the coaches want more.

Definitely helps that their DB coach is a former NFL vet and father to a current All-Pro DB
