I feel like that stat is kind of meaningless without comparing it to other schools. I bet that average when compared is higher than most think. I always just like at all time wins.. at one point before the losses started piling up we we're a top 15ish program all time. Now its probably back into the 20's.

I think its hard to base Auburn footballs potential off their all time record. The record indicates an average program. The reality is actually really good runs followed by really bad seasons. Rinse and repeat. It takes the right administration and staff to have sustained success. Sustained success is hard to come by.

Laniers math was off but his point is still right. 63% win percentage has us as 7.5-4.5 on a 12 game season and 8.2-4.8 if you throw in a bowl game for a 13 game season.

I just did the "math" since 2000. Since 2000, we are 192-105 (.547). Anyone want to do what the average yearly record would be? Id say 7-5/8-4

The majority of the people here probably watched more games in that 23 year span.

Different debate. Like it or not, we are and have always been a 7-5 program. Lets hope we can get there this year

On OL great news on Carter. Favour could be a very good one, just started playing this spring, but what a frame. House could flip. And add in Senda (I know he transferred and counts against last class), thats not a bad haul for the OL.

Someone who knows lineman, whats the take on House, Pink loves the guy?

Does that number reflect out bowl record or did you just count all the bowl games as wins?

Nah I just did 63% win% over 13 games instead of 12. I’m trying to put as little effort into this depressing argument as possible.

That’s a pretty fine line on this board

I was dead wrong on both. We were the 4th in wins in the 2000s and 2ND Behind Georgia In the 80s. I accept my punishment lol

I had a Mandela affect moment because for a part of the 2000s we were a top five program in terms of wins because of the undefeated season.

The recruiting thread tends to harbor the boards’ most frustrated posters. There’s a natural process toward gravitating here once you see on TV that our Lb’s are slow, the receivers don’t create space, and the OL are on the ground a lot. Where did these assholes come from?

What you and a mascot do in your free time is your business. The recruiting thread certainly isn't the place to discuss it

Perry Thompson recruiting Ny Carr on Twitter. Not very note worthy but way better than this argument

Think time is better spent elsewhere than Cam Coleman. Just think he’s gone no matter what

Same. He could end up at Auburn for all we know, but personally I’m not getting my hopes up at all on that one.

With the transfer portal, I expect that Cam will come home eventually.

I'm not even looking forward to that honestly. Would rather move on to another five or four star that really supported Auburn. There are rare exceptions though.
