Any news on Carter?

No news really. He wants to commit sooner than later, but he’s wanting to do it with a large portion of his family. Seems like that’s not an easy task to setup

All signs point to Auburn even if the delay feels uncomfortable

I feel pretty confident that Auburn is trying to line up a commit a week for the next week weeks.

Why Auburn for him - originally from Alabama or something? Just surprised we're pulling a top IOL out of California.

His father has family who lives in Birmingham

Remaining current targets to complete the class in my opinion.

DeAndre Carter
TJ Lindsey
Bradley Shaw
Dimitry Nicolas
Reese Baker

The big time names that are still in play and we have the lead possibly or current momentum

Kamarion Franklin
Zaquan Patterson
LJ Mcray

Flip candidate that seems reasonable considering what's going on with the PAC

Kahlil House

That class probably puts us somewhere around 5-6 in the final rankings. I'm not sure we take 25-26 players from high school but I really have no clue. I've been in the 22-23 area with about 10 transfers added depending on how some of the available players make strides this season.

McCray is a longshot, but he would be a great pickup Unlikely he leaves state of Florida

I think some could depend on what Franklin does. If he comes we may not have the bags to go after McCray as well. However I think McCray is more open then most think.

Is Reese Baker even still a take after dragging things out this long and then skipping out on BCW? I would tell him to kick rocks.

Probably still a take. OT talent in our footprint is very rare this cycle.

Some new names should come up during the high school season. A lot of maturity comes between junior and senior seasons generally in football especially for OL.

So some new names could definitely pop up that isn't even rated or ranked yet.

Don’t think he’s a take right now and I don’t think he has the green light to commit, despite the online angst of Auburn fans

Still betting he’s in this class but I’m guessing that gets figured out in December

Good list Corch.

Reese Baker, wonder if the coaches are still interested? He has no offers close to Auburn....and then disses us for Big Cat. They might take this Schunke kid and call it a day. A guard vs a tackle but who knows.

LJ McCray, I think he stays in state as well.

House, Ive heard the talk since the conference is imploding, but he didnt pick the school because of the conference, he picked the school cause a black kid with a degree from Stanford can write his ticket in corporate America for 40 years. Thats of course if he stays. A very tough school academically, 1000s of miles from home, and the ultra liberal atmosphere would be enough to scare away even the most strong willed person. He might have some buyer's remorse.

OL is definitely the wild card in the class at this point but what else is new for Auburn.

However, Unlike Gus I think Freeze will take some bodies.

As I previously mentioned there could be 3-4 OTs that were 6-3 250lbs last season that are 6-5 280 going into their senior seasons with the same athleticism. A hair better technique and that size coming into their Senior year and you have a great size and possible potential to be a starter on the OL in a couple years.

Is there any A&M players we can go after? You have to think this class will fall apart for them.

Getting Senda was so huge. I think he really changed the game plan for OL. Get Deandre Carter and a Reese Baker type (not saying him per se) and that may be it. We all know we are hitting the portal hard again for OL.
