Expectations in check? It’s like people don’t know how to be fans. Live a little; life’s too short to approach a sports entertainment game with caution.

How many starters from last year do we think will be starting again for the offense this year?

Our current roster is what you would get if your coaching staff was unbelievably good at evaluating 2-star talent.

You’re dead arse wrong here Low expectations and over achievement is the ticket to maximum fun. I’m fully strapped into the passenger seat of this season and ready to do some burnouts.

If you tryhards need high expectations to get a boner then that’s on you guys

I only have two goals during football season, drink lots of whiskey and yell very loudly.

If we suck or kick arse, both get accomplished

Lanier still white Knighting for Gus. Love it. To be fair, Gus will be like a fine wine, his tenure will get better with time. We will all look back in 10 years and be like, damn, it wasnt that bad. He had a hand in two natty runs, 2 Sec titles and he won the West three times.

AAaaaaand then you will have Brannigan chime in with Gus's away record and reality will set in. Then I will remind you about the time he rotated 5 fricking players at the qb position after naming the starting Qb game 1 against Clemson. I will also be including using a FB to throw a pass in the Iron Bowl as well.

Truth is in the middle. Good coach, recruited well, terrible at adapting. Half time adjustments were always shite. He would go for two point conversions then never try them again. Trick plays when a scoring drive is needed, putting us in a hole after 1st down. I mean, the list of his shitty decisions are a mile long. First down, run up the middle. Every. Fkn. Time. Sigh...I miss bitching about that fricker and his bubble gum chewing, visor wearing, nose picking arse. Good man too. Represented Auburn well. No complaints besides damn near everything he did outside of winning.

Poor halftime adjustments? Poor adjustments after his first or second scripted drive. How many times did we start out with a 12 play touchdown drive only to never hear from the offense again?

The horrible memories you just brought up. We would look unstoppable and be up 7-0. Then lose 23-10.

How many RBs would start the season looking like All SEC players then disappear heading into November/December, because Gus broke them?

Nathan King
@NathanKing247
For Auburn's coaching staff, it was love at first handshake with Shane Hooks.

"He wears a 4X glove."

Can the Jackson State transfer be the Tigers' top receiver?

"There are some things that I think just come natural for him."
