Our current roster is what you would get if your coaching staff was unbelievably good at evaluating 2-star talent. We are counting on a lot of productive players who were nothing coming out of high school.

How else would you recommend the roster be put together in the timeframe Freeze had? Tell me 1 position we got worse at than where we were. Do you think this will be his strategy going forward?

A bit of that, except Freeze took everyone’s diamonds
The portal signings fill our roster and allow us to compete while we build talent through high school. We’ll keep portaling hard the next few cycles I’d imagine but it’s what we have to do for now
I’d keep expectations in check but it’s nice to have a full roster and depth again

Poker, I'm just making an observation. Not being critical. We live in interesting times. I love what HF has done, and I have the first sparks of hope for next season.
However, I remember being hopeful for our previous regime and that has scarred me. I'm always trying to check myself for "buying into the hype". The difference now is there are no red flags that I'm having to excuse away. Freeze has aced every test so far.

Significant difference from Freeze to Harsin in just what we’ve seen so far. I am confident we will continue to see significant differences moving forward.
