I hope. Hate Georgia week is depressing these days and we don’t have much left to hang our hat on.

All true but at least I don’t see a Auburn team with a coach stuck in neutral

Nix has been a below 60% completion percentage QB his entire football career, even in HS. Unfortunately it is just part of him as a QB. Are there a lot of factors that go into that? Absolutely. Doesn’t change the reality of it.

Nix was 21 completions in 38 attempts. 19 drops would have made him 40 for 38. Now I wasn't a math major at Auburn but

I said I didn’t think it was correct the official total was 14. 1-fricking-4!!!
Bench Bo, amirite? Bo would have been 35 for 38 without drops. I know 2 were throw aways. Sooo…

Still sounds a little off. The throw to Robinson in the endzone was not a drop off as a bad throw inside. I guess the throw in the endzone on the what should have been a PI fan as counter as a drop

We can agree on whatever AU football currently is isn't working and a bit depressing

I think the throw to Shivers that hit him in the back was a throw away too. Regardless of the exact number, but should have had a very solid stat line today.

Meanwhile, uat WR getting blasted by 2 defenders and still catches the ball…

They’ve had a few uncharacteristic drops too tonight. However, nothing like what we saw. Most of their guys only need it in the general vicinity and they’re snagging it.

I remember one game where we have like 11 drops to the end of the Tuberville era. That was stunningly bad.

There's no way there were 14 drops.
I can think of quite a few, but I wonder what some are constituting a drop? All of Bo's passes that a WR may have gotten a hand on, doesn't constitute a drop, if it's a very poorly thrown pass.
It was too many, and especially on critical 3rd down conversions and the one causing the INT.

@BennettDurando
Pro Football Focus credited Auburn with seven drops vs. Georgia, bringing the season total to an SEC-leading 23.
And Steeler, what should constitute a drop is dropping a ball during an ordinary play. So Shivers drop should be considered a drop. Shenkers drop when he awkwardly turned the wrong way probably wouldn’t be considered a drop even though it was a mental gaffe.

Well, 7 is <<<<< than 19.
7 is even <<<< than 14.
I am not saying 7 is a good number. In fact, it is terrible. But a guess that far off shows a bit of inherent bias in the evaluation.

There were drops during other than ordinary plays that scholarship players should’ve made that are not considered here. So 7 is only the bare minimum, but yes, already horrible.
